Infant daycare around 250/week?

Does anyone know of any daycares that charge around $250 a week for infants? I know that the YMCA minier does but in case we don't make the wait list, I'd like to have more options. I am pretty open on location since we live in Shrewsbury but my husband works in Chesterfield and I go to school at SLU. Ideally I would want midcounty, creve couer, or chesterfield so that my husband could be in charge of pick up since he gets out of work earlier.

The only places I've seen at this price point are home day cares which are out there but can be harder to find. https://mo.childcareaware.org/ is a resource that you can use to find places - we had to call to get pricing. Good luck!

  • @ lilek22 Wee Care Daycare in Creve Couer. It is actually right next to my work and we almost selected them, but we opted to go with a place closer to where we actually live, rather than work. They are newer, but very well set-up. I don't know when you need one, but we were aiming for December 1 and they still had an opening. When we went to look at them a month ago they only had 4 babies in their infant class at that time, so they may have room now.

  • I would love recommendations as well! I am looking for a spot in February 2015 and placed either have huge lists or are so expensive. I have yet to find one under $309 besides the mid county YMCA which has a wait of 65 for 1 spot! I live in south city but work out in O'Fallon. I am open to pretty much anything on the way or close to home. Thanks in advance!
  • @edoherty24 - I live in South City too! We opted for Growing Footprints on Macklind. They had a waiting list (our little guy can't get in until December 1st, but they may very well have openings for this Spring), but they are about $200 a week for infants.
