Hell = frozen over. DH agreed on a boy name!

We are solid on a girl name - Abigail Rose.

Boys = my favorite name was August. Husband was adamant and a firm NO. He said it was feminine.
Today, a good 6 weeks after his veto, I showed him behind the name and he not only said he was wrong BUT HE AGREED TO IT.

Best day, ever. Only downside is I have to agree to a middle name I don't care for, but I will get over it.

Re: Hell = frozen over. DH agreed on a boy name!

  • Love both name choices! DH pulls that on me all the time. He'll veto a name, and then a week later, he'll suggest the same not not even remembering that he already vetoed it.
Yes! He saw another name on my list (Alexander) and was like "why is there a line through this?"

ARE YOU EVEN FUCKING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW.

  • Haha that's how I felt when my DH agreed on a girl's name!
  • And how I felt when DH agreed on my pick of girls names, Tessa. It's kind of a family name but not really and DH was being weird about using a familyish name.
  • August is a great name! I'm glad you got him to come around.

  • Husband thinks I am insane fpr picking names so early but I NEED a few months to make sure I am not sick of it, haha.
  • DH does this to me too. I think he fights me for the sake of fighting me, but he goes with whatever I like when push comes to shove.

    I like August! That's my cousin's name :)
