Crying out while sleeping

My DD had been sleeping great up until about 2 months ago. The past few nights I'm getting up every hour to put the binky back in her mouth and that usually works but sometimes she's sitting up when I go in. Other times she needs me to rock her back to sleep . It's been tough! She is teething and I have read that it could relate to separation anxiety which she is going through right now terribly. Before about 1 month ago when she woke up MOTN she just moved a lot which is what woke me but now she's half sleeping and half crying. What could it be?

I agree, just extra love. For what it's worth, any time my DD has woken up MOTN (twice per night currently) she cries out. Every once in a while she'll whimper and roll over or move around for a couple of minutes then fall back asleep but that is very, very rare.

Mines going thru the same. He's been up twice since I put him down an hour and a half ago. Teething combined with separation anxiety is my guess. Eeeeek.
