@laceyjean1‌ and @ComfortablyNumb‌ and anyone else with family in Moncton, I hope you're all ok!

Dirty lurkers: a 24 year old with 2 high powered rifles killed 3 police officers and wounded 2 others. He is still on the loose and the entire city is on lockdown. Scary and very uncommon around here...

My cousin and her family (fiance, step daughter, and baby boy) live in the outlined area where people have been told it is most critical to stay inside. I am so anxious for this mad man to be caught.

@HilarityEnsued‌ it is crazy because it's a pretty sleepy city. Here on the East Coast we're known for lobster and hospitality, this is such a shocker.

We are ok, but the longer he is on the loose, the scarier the situation.  We are being led to believe that they have an idea of where this guy is, but after almost 24 hours of him being on the loose, he could quite a distance if he wanted to.  I don't have much family in Moncton, but I have a few friends who have been in lockdown since last night.  One has a 2 year old little girl, and it's just the two of them in her apartment.  She is scared, and exhausted.
