Sitting up?

My LO is 5 1/2 months old and he will not even ATTEMPT to sit up because all he wants to do is stand! He will only sit in his bumbo seat. As soon as he butt touches the ground he kicks his legs straight and wants to stand up! - assisted of course. Anyone else having this issue?

    Lol, cutie! My daughter does the same thing. She wants to walk and stand so bad she tries to lift herself out of her swing/ car seat etc. I put her in her jumper more often now and also hold her up like she's standing- I try not to discourage her. She's also 5 months. Keep going bud! You'll be running before you walk ;)
