I was just told to give a suppository because it's been 3 days since he had a BM. His diet has changed some so I know what's causing the constipation. I am weirdly nervous about giving the suppository. He's been obviously hurting poor guy.
DS1 used to need them fairly regularly (he had a lot of digestive issues). It's harder on the parent for sure. They definitely do the trick though.

@babycaps - do you have a favorite formul for sensitive tummies? We were on Gerber gentle but his formula intake has increased a lot lately and he's been really uncomfortable. I just started Emfamil gent lease to see if that's better. He's still on 27 cal so a tsp every breastmilk bottle and average of 2 full bottles a day. I'm glad we made the decision not to do 30 cal bc this is getting rough on him!
I had to w my little one. My doctor recommended the infant glycerin suppositories & to cut them in half. I also put Vaseline around the area before doing it. It worked like a charm. She was a new baby. Bless her heart. I can't imagine how uncomfortable she was before I did it w all that poop in her system.
