Tell me more about this cauliflower with the mayo and olive oil.  What temp is the oven?  Do you put the mayo and OO on it after it comes out of the oven or do you put it back in to bake more?

Re: Hey MK aka the Hot Mayo thread ;)

  • Why are you so skeptical about mayo, TJ?  It makes everything good.

You should try it.  It makes things creamy, which is a good thing when you can't have dairy.

This cheesy garlic bread recipe contains hot mayo and it is to die for!  I think next time I make it, I would use less of the topping, though.  It's super rich.
  • ^^^Also, I forgot to follow the directions and put everything together instead of doing the butter and garlic part separate.  Easier and still yum.
  • Putting mayo and Parmesan on chic breasts before putting them in the oven is super good too...
Oh yeah.  I tried that for the first time awhile ago.  I added breadcrumbs and fresh herbs on top, too.  It was awesome.
  • seriously this is making me hungry and i'm in my office and have a deadline and ate all my snacks - and i'm sure the vending machine has few no/low carb options. ugh.
    Chipotle run?
  • Me, too.  Posting keeps me from folding the laundry, haha. It's like it's not even there when I'm googling cooked mayo recipes.
  • Now I've got to buy Mayo....and some Chipotle.
  • I can't believe this hasn't gotten more views now that I've renamed it the Hot Mayo Thread  =))

Check this one out.  It's a blueberry crisp that uses mayo in the topping instead of butter.  It gets great reviews.
