So I had my first appointment with my OB today. I wasn't expecting much of anything because the first appointment during my last pregnancy was simply internal exam and blood draw. Well apparently the office now has an ultrasound machine and he didn't want me to be anxious. So they arranged for an internal ultrasound. Everything looks fantastic - the baby is measuring exactly 7 weeks (2 days ahead of guesstimate based on LMP - I wasn't tracking) and the heartbeat was 131!!!!
I felt bad that DH missed it but I am so very happy right now
