More pants should have elastic waist bands. Unless I'm wearing a tucked in shirt, I see no need for an unyielding button up waist. FFTC: I rocked some of my first tri maternity pants last week and it was super comfortable.
If you are in a parking lot, and you see an empty spot next to a very pregnant woman attempting to wrangle her toddler into their carseat, you should not pull your car into said spot as far as you can without actually running into said woman and wait there for her to finish. If you can't help yourself and NEED that spot, you should wait until she closes the door to pull in.
I don't understand SAK. Have you tried ALL the beer?
wine is grosser.
and related to that I'm going to generalize and say that I think its stupid that women seem to only drink wine at businessy or formal type events, because what, its classier? its not like you are supposed to shotgun a miller lite. I swear not one woman was drinking beer at the conference I was at last week.
I never know what to drink at work events. I hate beer and wine. I usually get some random cocktail but always feel stupid for asking for it. I hate drinking at work events.
Hmm, I honestly can't remember. I know I bought J one of the little nips of American Honey to try, but can't remember if I tried it. He prefers Canadian whiskey; I think any whiskey is just gross lol.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Also, @stringy813, I know what you mean about women not drinking beer at events. I'm always the only one walking around with a beer at weddings. I even went to a wedding and had another woman say to me that she really wanted a beer, but she ordered wine because it was a formal event.
@stringy813 I would drink beer with you at a formal event! I would even shogun a Miller Lite at a wedding! Just kidding. I would never drink that swill.
If you're walking back behind someone else's backyard, it's entirely fucking inappropriate to stand there uninvited having an unsolicited and very clearly unwanted conversation with that person's toddler. What the fuck.

I don't think I've yet to shotgun any beer at a wedding....and looking at my list of friends yet to get married - there's only one viable option left.
But I'm glad you know what shotgunning is
They need to get better beer at weddings and I would drink it. Most of the weddings I've been at have aweful beer.
I didn't even know Flag Hill was a distillery, @Mapleme. I have only seen their wine. Now I will have to try that gin. I've never really branched out from the typical brands of gin and now that I've had Hendrick's, I realize how different it can be. I might have to become a gin snob I'll trade you some Flag Hill gin for some Heady Topper!
I couldn't imagine going to a wedding and NOT seeing most of the women drinking beer. I think it is a Catholic thing.
Dh was shocked at how much beer/alcohol is consumed at ds's high school at events for the parents/alumni. Ds goes to a Catholic high school.
Most of the weddings I have been to the beer was served in glasses so there's no telling what kind of beer each person was drinking and the beer was distributed fairly evenly between the genders.

@Chickypoo2468 you have a job (spreading the love of cd) and you can't get fired for drinking on the job....what more do you want? Co-workers to gossip, er drink with?......that's us. Co-workers to get mad at?.....try another board.

Okay, need to get these two off my chest. I have nothing to contribute to the alcohol conversation.
If your adult son leaves home with a suitcase and his dog, leaves his car behind, and you still go to a concert two hours away...you are a terrible parent.
And lady in the car in front if me this morning, smoking a cigarette with your infant in the backseat in a forward facing car seat...you are a terrible parent.
At most weddings I go to the girls drink more beer than the guys. The guys are all about the scotch and whiskey. That could just be my group of friends though. Apparently neither gender has any love for the wine.
I haven't had a drink since starting TTC in July '12 and now I say I don't drink because I'm nursing, but really, I just don't miss it at all and probably wouldn't care if I never had another drink. (I think that is more FFFC than UO, but I'm leaving it anyway)

I'm not a fan of whiskey. J tried so hard in our pre kids days to get me to enjoy the 'wonder' that is a glass of whiskey with a cigar. Effing gross.

Meh, I'd rather get a free glass of wine than get a whole case of free bud light. :-&
