BFP Warning***
Betas have been great and now just waiting on my first sono appointment. My RE will see me until I am 10 weeks. I made my regular OBGYN appointment today which was very surreal. I am doing better with the nausea this week but the exhaustion I think has hit and weird indigestion. We are waiting to tell our immediate family until we hear a heartbeat/s.

@PrivateOne has graciously agreed to take over the weekly check ins for me starting next week. I will still be hanging out but more in the background. I will be checking in and rooting for each one of you! You ladies are amazing!

2. TTC#2 5 months

3. PNV, OPK, and temping/charting with FF.

4. CD 28/12 DPO. The phantom symptoms were pretty bad early on, so I took a test at 9 DPO, got a negative and the phantom symptoms sort of went away, so mission accomplished. I still have sore breasts but I am getting my pre-AF monthly tongue blisters so not ready to test again yet. We have our end of year party this Friday so I will probably do the mature thing and test on Friday.

5. I want to feel hopeful because my FF chart looks promising, but a few cycles ago I had similar phantom symptoms, a certainty I was pregnant and still got a BFN. Darn 2 WW syndrome.

QOTW: Sleep in, read a good book and go to the mall. It has probably been at least 3 months since I set foot in a mall. I am definitely starting to feel mall withdrawal.

3. I finally followed up with my RE to finish up initial testing this cycle that I kept putting off. I did my CD3 tests and have my HSG tomorrow, which I'm a little nervous about since I am such a wimp with a low pain threshold. Hopefully the 3 Advil they recommend taking before will help.

5. I'm looking forward to finishing up the last of the tests so that we can finally put some numbers to our status and make some more informed decisions about if and how to move ahead

4. I am at 12DPO. According to my last cycle, I expected to start AF today, but I haven't experienced any spotting, so maybe my LP is lengthening after my cycles started up again PP.

I was having some interesting phantom symptoms such as carpal tunnel, waking in the night, and nausea (which I don't usually experience), but I haven't experienced some pretty solid symptoms such as extreme fatigue and breast tenderness.

5. I do not feel positive about this month since I'm due to start AF any time and I haven't received a BFP. At least I feel good that my LP might be lengthening. DH is going to be traveling during my anticipated fertile window in June. It looks like we might have to pick up again in July.

QOTW: Wow, I love the question this week! If I had a whole day to myself, I would work out in the morning, take a long shower, get acupuncture, and sit at a cafe with a decaf latte and do frivolous Internet things.

The questions don't really apply to me because we're not TTC for a couple more months, but thought I'd check in anyway and say hi.
I'm focusing on getting healthy, and working my way through my fear around what could happen in the future.
My faith is proving to be a source of real joy and hope.

A day to myself would mean shopping in art galleries and lying on the couch reading. Bliss.

I'm shocked that I have two mature follies this early. It feels too soon but will stay optimistic.
QOTW: my day would involve leisurely drinking coffee, walking the dogs, reading, a little shopping, a pedicure, and a movie at home with popcorn.

3. NTNP right now. We are with an RE who is requiring me to drop some weight before I can do a clomid IUI. So I'm at the halfway mark and hope to be doing my first IUI in July!

4. Waiting to O. Not sure if we will be able to time it since I have to work late tonight...but we'll see.

5. I don't feel much. My hormones must be gearing up for ovulation made me gain back ~5lbs. So I'm trying to drop them and then keep going. We've been exercising every other day and I feel good after I do it. So that's a plus!

QOTW: I would go get a skinny caramel latte and a breakfast sandwich at Starbucks. Then I would go have a mani/pedi. And then I would go do some shopping. One day I would like to replace my addiction to food with and addition to shopping. But first I have to win the lottery!

3. IVF #3 in progress.

4. I am on day 9 of stimms for my 3rd IVF. Everything is going well and we have quite a few follicles growing at this point. Retrieval will hopefully be early next week (Sun,Mon). Depending on how many we get and the fert report this may or may not be a banking cycle.

5. Trying to stay open minded to whatever happens. If I need to bank and do another retrieval I am fully prepared to do so. At this point, I just want to get as many of my own eggs out before I age any more. However, the RE at my clinic that did my scan yesterday was so freaking optimistic. She's like you have he ovaries of a 30 year old, every time we do this you just respond so well and so unexpectedly for your age. I just chuckled and said I'll take it.

QOTW: I generally make a list of a million things I want to do and yet because I'm such a procrastinator I generally just lay in bed watching tv and veg out thinking I have all the time in the world. Then I inevitably end up thinking were did the day go, lol.

Right now, we're just waiting for my miscarriage to finish up and then we'll continue charting and using OPKs. If we don't get pregnant in 6 months, we'll go to the RE again. Last time, I got a BFP the day of both my RE appointments.

My chart is driving me nuts. FF gave me CH for CD 10 which I don't believe. I think I'm going to O soon but I'm not sure. I think my body/chart is still wacky from my mmc.

I'm at CD13. I had an HSG on CD5, which was all clear. Have a followup with the doctor tomorrow, I'm hoping we'll have the beginnings of a plan by then. This cycle I'm using OPKs.

4. Where are you in your cycle? ( Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? I ovulate around day 14 or 15, so I'm in the active trying phase.

Trying to feel as little as possible. Last month I was three days late, and got my hopes up, only to be crushed.

@lcwed Ugh--charting always makes the 2WW worse. It's hard to avoid over analyzing. FX that your good-looking chart is the real thing!

3. Charting, temping, acupuncture, PNVs, all the supplements (I mean literally all of them. In the world). Currently checking off requirements (e.g. DHs semen analysis) so insurance will cover RE referral.

4. 4 dpo. I think it's too early for even phantom symptoms, but noticing some faint cramping this month. Does feeling unnaturally good count as a symptom? I don't know if it's the acupuncture, the supplements, the exercise, or cleaning up my diet, but I actually feel kind of like myself for the first time since DD was born. Yay!

5. Hopeful, because why not?

QOTW: First, sleep in obscenely late. Maybe run, depending on how I'm feeling that day. Spend the rest of the day reading a book (maybe at the lake?)

So happy for a weekly check in . Thanks ladies! I've devoured everybody's posts and comments and love it. I'm at work so just imagine a conversation where we talk about everything. I'm going to jump in and answer the bullets:

TTC#1 Since our honeymoon last August. Been temping since around Thanksgiving.

BBT, OPK charting. Took a little robitussen the last couple days but forgot this morning. Both my DH and I go to acupuncture weekly (thanks, Insurance!). My gyno said if we aren't pregnant by the end of the summer to go for testings.

I cut out caffeine 2 months ago. Now drink herbal tea - fertility blend.

I cut out ice cream and freezed foods b/c my acupuncturist said it is bad - we want to keep the abdominal area warm at all times and even eating ice cream can affect it.

I do nightly Arvigo massage on abdominal area.

Having Lots of Sex, ladies! We had sex last night, and 3 days prior. Planning to do it tomorrow, and then if the OPK is + on Saturday, we'll do it a few days in a row. We are going to the Four Seasons Sun - Weds (for my work, and he's coming with!) so needless to say, hotel sex will be great.

Waiting to O. Today is CD16. Been having CM increase over the last few days. Haven't been feeling especially horny, and haven't even wanted to orgasm. Thankfully my DH does his duty well and isn't put off by me not being 100% into it.

Hopefull! I feel a little more relaxed this month. My therapist says 'plenty of time' and trying to get my mindset relaxed. It will come...

I am going for a hike! Pick up some great food and bring a book and/or a journal.

@LeslieM0901 Best of luck with your IUI! Is it Friday? - It was supposed to be today and Friday. I was walking out the door to go to the appointment, and the nurse called to tell me it was cancelled. They accidentally contaminated the semen during the wash and got bacteria in it. (As well as another patient's.) I was and am so upset. Now I wait to find out if I need to have sex tonight or hold off until tomorrow's IUI. UGH...

Two Traveling Angels Story

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.

When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest.

When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel, "How could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die."

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

"Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you need to trust that the outcome has a purpose.

You just might not know it until some time later...

They accidentally contaminated the semen during the wash and got bacteria in it. (As well as another patient's.) I was and am so upset. Now I wait to find out if I need to have sex tonight or hold off until tomorrow's IUI. UGH...

Lesliem0901 - That is one of the worst things I've heard in a long time. What awful timing of human error. I hope you are still able to go in for the secondary one and make it a success to show them you be successful regardless to their horrible mistake.

@Lesliem0901: I would be beyond livid. I'm so impressed with your determination to stay positive and calm for your own sanity and health (and chances for making things stick when they eventually happen).

@tlc35: I took the meds. I've been heavy and light since Sunday (my dd's 1st birthday-- yay for associating my dd's first birthday with the day I lost our first attempt at a sibling). I'm hoping that today's activity is the beginning of the end of the loss. It's sad, but at 39, I feel like I don't have time to wait for a miscarriage to happen naturally (especially since I think it went as long as it did because I was on progesterone suppositories to support the pregnancy).

If I had a day to myself and had MONEY is the question. I have lots of days to myself but if i had money too, I would get up early, go to starbucks, get a mani/pedi, to get a massage and then go shopping……I never get to do any of those things cause the husband is a tightwad.

@danieleandwayne I understand. That is part of the reason I had a D&C. The other was that I was scheduled to go OOT for work in 10 days and I didn't want to start bleeding heavily while in another state away from my doctor and my H. I hope the meds work quickly and painlessly for you.

Right now, just charting and "seeing where that takes us"

I'm appx 7DPO and anxiously awaiting day 10 so I can POAS (I now realize how all of you can't wait to POAS - I'm extremely anxious and cautiously hopeful. My O day, I think, happened while we were literally travelling, so I don't know if our timing was right this month, but I'm hoping that all our work before and after will help out.

QOTW: You have a whole day to yourself .. what are you going to do?

When I have a day to myself, I always tell myself that I will relax, read out in our backyard, get my nails or hair did, but I usually end up working on some form of DIY project, more often than not, it is something for the house.

TTC#2 for approx 2 1/2 years. (I've decided its better for my mental health not to count.)

We're taking a break from medicated IUI cycles and beginning the preliminary requirements for IVF. Of course, my CD3 bloodwork came back wonky - indicating a cyst, big surprise - and so I have to try that again next month with an u/s. I decided to temp this month, just to see, and I'm using the OPK like always. FF seems to be a bit confused by my cycle (the progesterone from the cyst throwing things off?) , but it seems to be a weird one anyway. I took my first OPK on CD8 as usual, and already had a faint line. CD10 was a strong line, and this morning (CD 13) FF decided that I ovulated on CD 10. I'm guessing I really ovulated CD11, which is pretty typical for me. Either way, our timing is pretty good, so I'm just rolling with it. Its not like there's anything I can do about it now!

I'm in the 2ww, but right at the beginning. No symptoms at this point.

I'm feeling weirdly hopeful about this cycle. I think its because last fall we did two medicated cycles and then got pregnant the next cycle, which had been cancelled due to, you guessed it, a cyst. Perhaps I'm more superstitious than I realized. Or maybe its just because I feel sooo much better off the meds. But, not hopeful enough to be putting off the IVF stuff.

QOTW: Sleep in, putz around in my garden, read in bed before drifting off to a nap.

TTC #1 since January. IUI with donor sperm, charting, clomid, steroid, vitamins. First attempt fizzled out. Now on second round of meds CD4...maybe another try this month.

I don't know what to think of this cycle. If I have good follies in my left ovary, I will feel better about my chances. why? idk...

I have every day to myself so nothing big there...would like at least one two-legged kid running around (now, I have four-legged kids) so I can anticipate a whole day to myself instead of having it everyday
