GTKY: Whats your beans name

Some of us have already picked out real names, and are just waiting to find out the sex of the baby. But in the meantime, how do you refer to your little one? Have you given a nickname yet? 

DH and I transferred 2 embryos for our IVF, and I've nicknamed them Dolce & Gabanna. (I have no idea why, it just seemed cute at the time) Because I dont plan to announce for a while probably after 12wks to family and 16wks to friends. When Im talking about how Im feeling, my secret code is D&G (on social media mostly). Only my DH and 2 best friends and my IVF bestie know what it means. 

So how about you? Did you go traditional like peanut? or simply "baby"?

first it was "little ball of cells" (blastocyst didn't have quite as nice a ring to it), now it's "tiny embryo"

We are still cautiously optimstic, since we haven't had our appointment yet. We don't really call it anything yet. The baby, mostly. After our appointment, I think it will be Our Nugget.

So far just "Baby T" just because that's the initial of our last name. But DH referred to it as peanut earlier today, so we will see!

Baby P (our last initial) -- my husband is all over it, so I think it makes it cuter

My DH keeps saying that he wants to name it Spartacus if it is a boy, so that's what we are calling it now.

With my first we called him our wiggle monster because he was all wiggly on he ultrasound . This one is just the baby for now.

Nothing yet until I see a heartbeat. I didn't have a nickname with DD so it'll probably only be "this one" or "the next one"

Widget.  I cannot even remember how we came up with that nickname at this point.. we've referred to Baby #2 as Widget for at least a year, probably longer.  I really wish I could remember why, I'm sure it was a funny reason.

DS' nickname when I was pregnant was Gozer (from Ghostbusters).  We're big Ghostbusters fans and also thought The Destructor would be perfect for when he was a toddler, which it is :P

I am the same as a few others. We haven't really started calling it anything until we see a heartbeat.

For right now we just call it baby, but I think once we see the ultrasound we will call it a cute nickname.

We're also using the fruit of the week.  Or, "the embryo".  Will eventually start using "the W-child," a composite of our last names, because it's too awesome that our name composite makes sense as a name for a protobaby us.  But that's when it becomes much more real as its own being.  Now it's just a ball of cells that's somehow hijacked my bodily functions.

This baby's nickname is "Baby Joy" because my boys are obsessed with Super Why and Super Why's baby sister is named Joy (we're having a girl- we already know because we had PGD done on our frozen embryos before they were frozen).

Right now just "the baby" but after we know the gender we'll probably call he/she by their name. I'm not a big nickname person.

We called our son Simba when he was in utero, and that was really fun. Kinda want to call this one Nala, but who knows if it will be a girl!

We called DS Pumpkin Seed, because DH's nn for me is Pumpkin. We haven't really thought about a nn for baby #2 yet. ETA: DH suggested "nutter butter" but that sounds dirty, so idk if it will stick.

My DH keeps calling this one Ender because it's our third (and he wants to make it clear, our last). We had long debates about having a third and I am besides myself with excitement!
