Hello Ladies! Monday I got a positive beta after my first IVF/FET cycle. Beta 1 was 560 and today I got the call that Beta 2 was 2060. I was in a IVF study that required a double embryo transfer. I knew there was a risk of multiples, but getting a little nervous with my 2nd beta being so high. My first ultrasound is on the 11th, so I will be finding out soon! I am so happy to be here, but being cautious since this is my first BFP.
TTC since May/June 2012 
Sept 2013 testing:
SA #1 Low motility (17%) 
SA #2 Lower sperm count, but much higher motility
CD 3 Bloodwork and ultrasound - Normal HSG - Clear tubes 
Oct/Nov 2013 Cycle 1 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN  
Nov/Dec 2013 Cycle 2 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
Jan/Feb 2014 Cycle 3 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
2/20/14 Follow up consult RE recommends IVF with ICSI 
3/10/14 New patient consult with RMA NJ 
3/11/14 AMH and other Bloodwork to prep for IVF with ICSI at RMA NJ
3/28/14 Saline Sonogram - All good
March/April 2014 IVF #1 Antagonist Protocol
BCP/Bravelle/Menopur/Ganirelix
4/16/14 ER 26 Retrieved!!!
4/17/14 Fert Report 22 Mature 21 Fertilized w/ ICSI

    Congrats! You won't know anything about multiples until you have an ultrasound...good luck!!

    Me 32 :: DH 41

     TTC since November, 2011

    DH's SA : Excellent

    Lap and Hysteroscopy June 2012

    DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD

    Treatments:  6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN

    3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase" 

    September - December, 2013:  Break to lose weight and get healthy

    40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"  

    February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP

     Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!! 

    1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp 

    2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp.  Graduated from RE!!

    TEAM PINK! 

    Baby girl arrived on Thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
    Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

    Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

    Congratulations! We only transferred 1 but my first beta was 700 and the second was 2156! I was worried it split and we had twins but our u/s yesterday confirmed just 1. While we are in different situations since you did transfer 2, just wanted you to know that betas can be high and still singleton. Good luck!

    How many days past FET were your betas? 

    Mine was something like 356 at 8dp5dt and 2700 11dp5dt. I know it doesn't necessarily mean much, but I got twins out of the deal.

    @cls78 - Well, I'll tell you what my RE's nurse told me. "Don't assume it's two, but don't fall off the table during the ultrasound when they tell you it's twins either." Good luck with your ultrasound and keep us posted!

    Congrats! Glad to see you over here from the May Blossoms. FX for a great u/s next week! Beta #s can be crazy. Mine were much lower than yours at the same dates and we had triplets at the time of my betas. Good luck!
    Me 30 mild PCOS w/o insulin resistance DH 32 low count & motility after vasectomy reversal 
    Married 10/2007 TTC since 2013 
    IVF#1: Jan 2014 - Lupron trigger - due to high risk of severe OHSS; E2 at trigger - 6984  
    ER - 1/28 35 retrieved, 22 mature, 14 fertilized (ICSI) 
    ET - 2/2 cancelled due to mild OHSS 6 blasts frozen 
    FET #1: Mar 2014 - long lupron protocol 
    5/6/14 - Two blasts transferred, one hatching! 
    5/11 5dp5dt BFP! Beta #1 262 (9dp5dt), Beta #2 756 (13dp5dt), Beta #3 1738 (15dp5dt)
    6/3/14 - u/s showed one beautiful baby with a heartbeat of 123, EDD 1/19/15

    Me:     30, DH: 32
    My hx:  uterus/hormones normal Dx: low AMH 0.5 = poor ovarian reserve
    hubby hx: low sperm count, poor motility, started on clomid, retest in May showed no improvement, will be on clomid another 3 months, another retest scheduled for August

    Started IVF #1:  ~BFP Mentioned~
    • ER (Thursday April 17th, 3 precious eggs).
    • April 18th: Received news 2 out of 3 eggs fertilized!
    •  Planned 3dt: Easter day, transferred two 8B embryos and received pictures :)
    • BFP starting 8dp3dt 5/1 Beta #1: 87, 5/3 Beta #2 206 
    • 5/19 Heartbeat 123bpm
    • EDD 1/8/15

    Yay, congrats and welcome!

    Began TTC #1 in Sept. 2010. I was 33, DH was 36.. Dx with DOR and slight MFI (8/4/11).

    Test results (after first RE visit 6/21/11): 7DPO b/w: Progesterone = 11.3; CD3 b/w: FSH = 10.1 mUnits/mL, E2= 52.0 pg/mL, AFC: 6; SIS Ultrasound: Uterus great, tubes clear! AMH: 0.3 

    IUI#1 June 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN 
    IUI#2 July 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN 
    IUI#3 August 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): CP (Beta #1: 4.61, Beta #2: 1.0) 
    IUI#4 October 2012 (Follistim, ovulated before trigger, missed IUI, converted to TI): BFN 
    Jan. 2013 New RE
    IVF #1 June 2013 MDL Protocol. Converted to IUI#4.1. (High E2 and 3+ mature follicles at first monitoring.) BFFN
    IVF #1.2 August 2013 Stop Lupron Protocol with Human Growth Hormone added. 17R, 14M, 9F (with ICSI), 2 embryos (decent quality - grade 2) transferred on day 3, 2 blasts made it to freeze. Beta 8/26. BFFN :'(

    FET #1 December 2013 Last try! Transferred 2 blasts -- graded 3AB and 4BB. Beta #1 (12/27/13) 530. Beta #2 (12/30/13) 1876. BFP! One bean. EDD 9/3/2014!

    We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!
