lo has a tricycle that we push, he's just starting to pedal it. We have purchased him a cars bike for later because it was a great deal at the goodwill, looking almost brand new for $20. That's for further down the road. What I think is laughable is that MIL knew we had this bike set aside and then wrote in lo's birthday card "Let's pick out a bike and helmet together" and attached a Toys R us gift card...I guess we'll have to find something else then! I am still looking for the matching helmet, I've seen it at Walmart but not in the right size. Toys R us never has small helmets in stock...it's funny how no one realizes that Toys R Us is almost the worst place to shop for toys, it's overpriced and they never have what you want in stock...that being said I've bought toys for kids there in the past, but now that I know they mark everything up, unless it's a toys r us exclusive, I'm better off shopping around! Sorry for the digression, lol
Lo loves his bike!
We have a tricycle for him that has the handle in the back for a parent to push. He doesn't get peddling yet really (he tries but no luck).
Loves when we push him around on it. Last night we went for a 45 min walk and he happily rode it the whole time!
My in-laws gave DS a Smart Trike for his first birthday and we used it for the first time over the weekend during a walk around the neighborhood. He doesn't really understand the pedaling yet but likes being pushed around and has been asking daily for his tricycle.
Abby received a tricycle for her birthday over the weekend. She loves it. She is surprisingly really good at peddling but doesn't have the strength to peddle more then once or twice and then she wants a push.

DD has been in her smart trike since she was 10 months. We just bought her a new one because the other one was getting run down (we use it that much!). I stick it in my trunk and use it on our outings instead of a stroller. She doesn't peddle yet but loves to be pushed around.
We also recently bought her a seat for our bicycles and she absolutely loves it! She sits near the handlebars of my DH's bike and she loves it.
DD got a big wheel for her birthday, but can't quite reach the pedals all the way. My sister also gave me my old tricycle that she found stored in my dad's attic when he died. It's pretty beat up, but I'm going to try to clean it up for her.
Cortlan got a tricycle for her birthday and she loves it, but also doesn't understand how to peddle yet so we either push her, or she uses her feet to pull herself along
