Help make this bearable

Ok so I HAVE to stay here until the end of the month. It would be too much of a burden on us financially if i left any sooner. So help me with my co-worker!! I came in this morning and walked in with her and had small chat. We got coffee and she seemed fine. I got to work and got several things tackled. Then i called to ask her a question and i buzz her office and she replies with "what!?" instead of a polite hello.... FF a couple hours and i go to ask her a question in her office. I walk into bitch face and the cold shoulder. WTF?? I am still pulling my weight and being friendly as best i can. What can i do to change this? I need to make it bearable to work here until at least the end of the month...

You two are friends as well, right?  Maybe she is taking you leaving hard?

  • I ditto what others said. Be civil and be nice to her despite her bitchiness.

She's probably upset that you didn't tell her that you were applying for jobs. I don't know your history with her, if you're friends or just co - workers but maybe she feels left out.

It's tough to be the one left behind...I say that because one of my closest friends is leaving work this month.  It sucks, big time, because that person makes it more bearable.  It sounds like you opened that door to talk about it with her.

  • those sound like typical "I'm stressed out/anxious" responses that I would even give! It's been really hard for me the past two weeks seeing how many fuck$ people are now giving now that I'm leaving. I'm so bitter.
