changes in O/N wetting habits/s'bish bamboo flat O/N question

I've been using size mediums for my LO for several months now, and I love them.  They clean up well, and have great absorbency.  I use them with a hemp doubler, as there's the occassional night when LO is up to nurse a ton, and then he soaks them pretty well (no leaking issues if I use the doubler though).  Most nights, when he's only up twice to nurse (that's a good night for us), the absorbency is more than enough, and they're dry in the back come morning.

How do O/N peeing volumes change with age I guess is my question?  Should I be looking at preparing to get some large flats?  Or is it likely that since LO is one now, and still not maxing out the absorbency on most nights, that they'll last through PL?

We wee using sbish snapless around one with an extra doubler. Once we night weaned around 18 months, we no longer needed the doubler. This morning he woke up with half the diaper dry. He only soaks it now if he eats too much watermelon, but no leaks. So, our absorbancy needs have gone down between 1-2.

  • We're still using the medium size flats tri-folded, and DS will be 2 next week. We stopped using a doubler several months ago. Some mornings the diaper is almost wet at the back, but most times it's fairly dry. If he ever starts super soaking, I'll add the doubler back in before I size up, just b/c the length on the medium is perfect for laying in the covers that we have.
