diaper fail

So in the MOTN I nurse DD#3 and DH changes her and puts her back to bed. Every night since she has been a week old she wears workhorses at night.  And recently we added a doubler which works great.  So I was surprised when I went to get her out of the crib and everything was soaked!  Her onesie and sleepsack up to her neck and her sheet and mattress pad.  I quickly opened up her cover to find just a flat.  Mini-kite folded.  Not that well.  And HE literally put away all the clean diapers in the drawer last night after I folded them.  WTF!?  I'm not mad...just think it's funny and worth sharing.  Any other fails you ladies want to share??

I got it on, and then it finally occurred to me that it was inside out! It was a totally white diaper, and it was dark, so i couldn't tell. I can't imagine the mess that we would have found if I'd left it on inside out.  I bet even the worst MIL's havent put on a CD inside out.

OMG I did the same thing last night!! I was like, why won't this tab stick?!?! It was inside out. Doh.

The other night I got my son's night time diaper on, I was just about ready to get his pajamas on and I hear a long fart from him.

I'm thinking, oh great I just put the last fitted on him and he poops in it.

I run downstairs get a fitted out of the dryer that just finished, grab him out of the jumparoo and start changing him.  Only to find out he didn't poop, just farted...

One time early on I was nursing DS with the mybrestfriend pillow when he lets this huge one rip.  And then I start smelling it.  So I call DH over and go to hand him the baby, when I see that DH (who had done the last change right before handing him to me to nurse) managed to diaper the baby's foot inside the diaper.

Poop.  Everywhere.

Oh the crap (ha!) moms have to deal with!

When DD was about a week old we had a family gathering at my moms house. I had her in disposables at the time because she is so tiny and I didn't buy NB CDs. I don't know if it was a faulty diaper or if I just didn't do it up tight enough but she pooped while I was feeding her in my moms room and it got all over her, all over me, all over my moms decorative pillow and bedspread (that was white, of course). It was the biggest explosion I've ever seen. I had to change into a pair of my moms pj pants, and wash everything. My mom thought it was hilarious though because apparently when I was a NB I pooped all over her while she was wearing white pants at a baby shower lol Good old karma!

My husband keeps randomly taking the wet prefold off and then leaving it in the crib (which is where we change diapers) instead of putting it in the hanging wet bag six inches from it.
