Ladies, what's up.

It has come to my attention via a long talk with myself, lol, I don't point on the weekends.  This bad habit needs to be stopped so this is what I'll be working on. Sadly I forgot to weigh myself this morning, but I think my scale is a little wonky anyway and I'm going to have to buy a new one soon.  

So far this week I've completed Week 2, Day 1 of C25K and I'm not sure right now if I'm going to go to the gym after work or do Day 2 of C25K this afternoon at lunch.  I'ts not very nice out right now, but it's suppose to clear up by noon, but still be chilly.  Either way I'm going to run on Friday.  

Since last week I posted that I downloaded a few new songs to get me motivated to do the C25K I thought I would put my work-out song list on here and challenge you guys to add your own and lets let that get us motivated!

  • Wow, those songs are awesome!!!

    I am UP 8 LBS!!!! I've been running 3+ miles 4-5x/week with hills plus started strength training Sunday. Everyone keeps telling me its muscle but I'm so frustrated. I feel amazing but not as light as I did last year when I just did running with no strength training. I know the muscle is important but sometimes I feel like a Clysdale instead of an Arabian.

    I downloaded Spotify a couple days ago and have started playing it during my strength training but I'm still figuring out which stations I like and which songs I like. I hate paying for music so I'm working with the free streaming music options (Pandora, etc.)

  • Let me know if you want any of those songs @kescalera and I'll try to figure out a way to send them to you.  

    It could diffidently be water and muscle gain.  Cardio will help you lose weight, but the strength helps keep it off.  Don't be discouraged.  You're doing awesome!  Don't look at the scale in this case, look at how your clothes fit or how you feel just doing normal activities, walking up stairs, etc...
  • I will update after I weigh in on Thursday.  I haven't weighed myself in almost 3 weeks, no scale at home.  I was on vacation and we did a lot of walking and I really didn't eat too bad.  I'm eating worse now that I'm back at work, but I've been bringing my lunch every day so that helps.
