Roll Call 6/3/14

Re: Roll Call 6/3/14

  • Just nursed LO. Burping her and then going to pump.

  • Up nursing. DS had been going 8/9 hours overnight for a week or two. Then the last two weeks have gotten worse and worse. He started fussing from gas for a couple hours each night, then it was every hour (which meant I had to keep waking up to give him his pacifier), and now the last few days he's back to going just four, maybe five hours at night WITH still fussing in between. So I've been getting one hour increments of sleep for a couple weeks now. I'm so tired while trying to keep up with an infant and a toddler.
  • Sorry @CaseAndDave‌! I looked for others. I must have been typing when you posted yours.
  • Up nursing. DS is wide awake so hopefully he goes back to sleep ok after this.
  • I'm up nursing DD. She wouldn't go down, so I slept on the couch with her from 10 to 1am. I put her down at 1 but she woke up hungry and ate for 20 min and passed out. 10 min after that she woke up wanting more, ate for 20 min and passed out. Well it's an hour later and she woke up screaming and shoving her hand in her mouth. Ugh!! Why the hell is she not sleeping?! I was down to one MOTN feed but this week she is just so screwed up on her schedule for some reason.

Heyo! Here nursing. I think our LO ' s are starting to hit that 12 week growth spurt,at least it sounds like that. Fi was rocking every three hours for the past two days until now.

Now she's falling asleep while eating so that's fun.

    Happy MOTN!

SOOOOO, am I the only one who's baby still hasn't slept longer than 3hrs? @9 weeks old we have yet to get so much as even a 4hr stretch. ...I'm exhausted and loosing my sanity. What the heck am I doing wrong? Ugh

And I know he's tired, but of course finishes nursing and now won't fall asleep...

    BIG YAWNS OF COURSE

  • I read this every night but this is my first time posting.
We're up here, Camden is following usual schedule up every 3hrs not a minute late! waiting for him to fall back to sleep now so I can pump.
This is second feeding tonight and I may have pretended not to hear him last one because I know if I wait a minute longer, DH gets up but this time I got up since I need to pump anyways!
I thought maybe this was the night he'd finally sleep through, being this was my candy wrapper I got yesterday....guess not! image

  • LO just fell asleep while nursing, but I'm hoping she wakes up and takes the other side so I don't have to pump.

It just started raining here, and all I can think is that I want to sleep to that sound for hours, but I'll never get too.
  • My kid is fighting going back to sleep lately. It's been the past few nights after the MOTN feed. It's so frustrating now that I'm back at work. I could use all the extra sleep I can get. Tonight it took just over an hr. She ate in 15 mins, will semi fall asleep in my arms and I go to put her down and it's struggle town. I don't get it. I don't want her to CIO.

  • Well we are back again. I just put DD down at 4 and now it's 5. Not sure why she is torturing me by getting up every hour tonight.

  • Up at it again.....

@Babycaps he naps REALLY good during the day, DH has told me many times to not let him nap too much and so of course I tried the whole keep him awake more during the day thing and that makes night time a nightmare so I let him nap when he wants and night time feedings go smoother. No matter what we do its always the same result, he doesn't sleep at night :(
typically he sleeps about 2&1/2hrs rarely he sleeps for 3hrs. Its just getting so exhausting, during the day I feel delirious...I have no idea what I'm doing wrong if anything.
Honestly just one night of even a 6hr stretch would be AMAZING. My first 2 kids sttn by 4wks so this is rough
I am 100% jealous of all the mammas who's babies sleep at night.

@Babycaps I do feed him every time he wakes up. He screams and acts like he is starving, like I can't get to him fast enough.

The past 3 nights I have been giving him BM in a bottle and he sucks down 4oz every 3hrs
I'm just getting so overwhelmed don't know what to do anymore
