Ok so I know I need to do natural fibers and synthetics separately, but what about covers?

I just got a kawaii P&N and an LGB, a newborn simplex, a sweetpea AIO, and a kawaii goodnight heavy wetter.

Should the simplex and the LGB cover be prepped with the natural inserts and go through 3 washes? Or can they just be washed once with the MF inserts and other covers?

The diapers you mentioned are Aios, not covers. Keep natural together (simplex, p&n) together. Then microfiber together. Even things with PUL

Yep, sorry, they are pockets and AIOs. I didn't know what to call the shell that the inserts are stuffed in to. Just want sure what to do with the non-inserts.
