STM+: How soon after losing your mucus plug did you go into labor?

I know it could still be weeks, but was curious of what everyone's general experiences were!

I lost mine exactly a month before DS was born.  I lost the 2nd round a couple of days before I went into labor.

It can regenerate I lost it with my first at 36 weeks.  I was induced with both of my kids at 39 weeks for GD though.

I lost mine a few hours before I started having contractions. I don't think it means all that much, though.

With DS Mine came out at 38 weeks. Within hours my water had broke & I was on my way to the hospital. Went into labor about 3 hours later.

I lost little bits and pieces throughout the day I went into labor.

i put "what's a mucus plug" because i don't even remember losing mine.  my water broke 12 days early, and then DS was born the next day, so i'm thinking it was sometime before that!

I put I never lost mine because I lost it when my water broke during early stages of induction. I called the nurse to tell her my water broke, and she came in first thing she said was "there's your bloody show", my thought was yea I know, my water broke!!

I started losing it about 24 hours before I was in full-blown labor. That was at 39w4d

This. I never lost a big chunk, but definitely noticed some more "mucous-y" discharge the AM before I went into labor.

I lost mine when I was at L&D triage waiting for them to check that indeed my water did break.

With ds1, never lost it, my water just broke. I lost mine this morning and I'm in l&d right now hooked up to like my third magnesium bag, contracting like a mad woman and dilated to almost 3. But my water is still intact. It doesn't really mean anything.

Yikes!  Good luck -- I hope they're able to stop your labor for now.

I apparently lost mine over 3-4 days and Alexander was born 6 days after the first day I started losing it. I had no idea that was what it was! I just thought it was some 3rd trimester increased discharge.

Fun fact:  Last night DH said he scraped something off the bottom of his slipper that was thick and gooey, and he couldn't figure out what it was.  My mind immediately went to the plug.

I lost mine and nearly immediately went into labor. 46 hours later my DD was born!

I lost mine at just over 39w and DD was born at 41w exactly, so almost 2 weeks later.

It looks like a big glob of snot that came out your vag. Sometimes bloody snot.

If you have your cervix checked, it can cause some or all of your mucus plug to come out, in which case it's not really a sign of anything. This happened to me with my first, and I was induced a week later. With my second, I never saw any sign of it before I went into labor. I had some bloody show but not until I was already in active labor.

Yes, it looks like a massive blob of loogy.  There was no mistaking that it was my plug.  For the love of God, nobody post that shit!

Never lost it with my first two. Have lost pieces of it about 4 times already this time over the past 2 months. Baby is still inside, so months?
