Success after IF

FET question

So I went in to my RE this morning to talk about a summer FET and I got mostly good news. I have two embryos so they will determine whether we transfer one or two closer to the date, but they did my saline sonogram today and the water didn't fill in all the way because of scar tissue :(

Has this happened to anyone? I'm so upset because he thinks it could be because of the placenta mishap when I needed to get the d&c last June (though I hear it could happen anyway because of the csection or birth in general). I'm going to have it repeated next cycle and see if anything changes, which might push back the FET until August. I feel so much better by seeing my RE but sad to be back in IF hell.

At my last saline sono they discovered a polyp which caused me to be pushed into a FET rather than a fresh one. I know it is tough, but in the grand scheme of things it only puts you back a month or two. And I tried to view it as it was better knowing than trying endlessly and it acting like an IUD the whole time. Hugs and GL with the FET. (Did they discuss removing the scar tissue? I had to have my polyp removed)

  • They said that it could be one of 4 reasons.
    1. Csection
    2. Being pregnant
    3. The sono was today at day 6 of my cycle. It might have been done too early.
    4. The f@!king d&c that I had because the stupid doctor that delivered my son left placenta in there.

The 4th possible reason make me so angry. X(

I'm going to repeat it next cycle, have it removed if it's still there, then cycle ASAP after that.

I didn't have a problem with the saline sonogram, but when I went in for my FET#2 transfer, the RE had a problem getting the catheter past my c-section scar tissue.  She eventually got it through but it gave her a little trouble.  She said she's seen it much worse from other c-section moms though.  So, I guess it could be that.  It didn't affect my transfer though and it wasn't even mentioned during FET#1.
