All messed up today

Just changed DD#3.  Got her bottom coconut oiled up.  Got the flat folded and snappi'd.  Went to reach for a cover and they were all gone (dirty).  So instead of taking it off and putting on one of her sposies *shudder*, I just put a larger sposie (one for my toddler) over the top like a cover.  Then 2 seconds later I realized my pants were on inside out.  What is wrong with me today!?!?  Any other funny stories to share anyone?

ETA: Sorry about the title of this discussion being so close to the other post about that book.  Didn't mean to confuse anyone.

as long as your pants were of the yoga variety, and not jeans, I think you get a pass for that one

I've done all of my Target shopping with a cardigan inside out.

I didn't care.

I don't have any for myself today (yet) but my co-worker told me her daughter dropped her shirt in the toilet and then spilled chocolate milk all over the kitchen.  She's an adult, so I kind of wondered how she dropped her shirt in the toilet....

Seriously what is going on today....now I just totally sprayed and soaked my pants with the diaper sprayer.  And realized I put my pail liner in backwards with the fabric in the inside (after I have been putting diapers in it all day of course)!

I went to the grocery store yesterday with the intention of spending most of the morning running errands. I realized when I got there, I hadn't packed a nap diaper or an extra cover (If I time it right, G will fall asleep in the car and stay asleep when we get home). Not to be deterred, I figured I'd just use a prefold (which I had) and re-use the Grovia cover that I had with me. So I changed him into the Grovia after we finished at the store (planning to go to the post office then spend about an hour at the park after, then change him for nap time and head home). About five minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot, he told me he needed a clean diaper. Being Super Mom, I basically told him he'd just gotten a clean diaper, so he was fine (he's not always accurate with when he needs a new one). Got to the post office, popped him out of the car, checked our mailbox (G walks in and out, so I wasn't carrying him), and when I picked him up to put him back in the car, he was SOAKED. I figured maybe I'd goofed and gotten the fit wonky, so I figured I'd still just grab one of my prefolds and reuse the cover. When I got his pants off, not only was the Grovia insert completely drenched, it had seeped out the seam at his legs, so the cover was basically soaked and useless too. And I didn't have a clean pair of pants for him either. So all I could do was put him in two snappied prefolds and take him home (an hour early). We get home, and he's peed through both prefolds and is asleep. I take him upstairs and put him on his changing table to get a clean diaper on him (resigned to the fact that nap time will be early and wonky). Says soon as I put him on the changing pad, though, he assumes he's in his bed (it's more common than not that we'll be out and about until nap time, so he's used to the routine) and he rolls over on to his tummy and sticks his bum up in the air. Let me just tell you, the fact that I got two snappis off him and a new diaper on him in that position is a miracle. Once he was clean, I put him in his bed (still asleep). Then he woke up after only sleeping half as long as normal. It was a long day. Like this post... Sorry for the novel
