Playtime!

I posted a question like this a few months ago, but now that the A13 babies are in a whole new stage of development, what are your and your LO's favorite games to play together? (Not favorite toys, so much, but the face-to-face interacting games you guys like to play.) Alex loves:

• "What does the dog/cat/cow/elephant/monkey/froggy/whatever animal say?" And then I make the animal noise.
• Disappearing Mommy -- I hide behind a door or breakfast bar or anything and then pop back into sight.
• Trot-trot to Boston -- Mimicking trotting horse on my knee
  
• Tip-over -- I pile a lot of toys into a laundry basket, and then he tips it over. Same thing with blocks into a bucket, etc. 
• "Dance" lessons -- I pretend we're waltzing, and I dip him, and he "dips" me.
  

I'm looking for new ideas, so any you guys could share would be great! (I got thinking about this this morning after hearing a radio story about babies/toddlers in underdeveloped countries. To summarize, in 1988 they did a study where they took a group of poor, small-for-their-size babies/toddlers, and half the group got playtime with their mom and half got extra food and nutrition. The playtime kids did remarkably better on tests and when they grew into adults.)

Jackson LOVES Trot-trot to Boston too! He loves Peek-A-Boo, Pat-A-Cake, Flippies (flipping upside down), Godzilla Mode (walking on/knocking everything over), Swinging in his swing, and he LOVES his "re-invented" Step and Play. Taking the seat out made it a whole new toy for him and he can't get enough of it. He's so conscious of stepping on the keys and making music. It's adorable.

LO loves dumping anything over... Like if I build a block tower or put little toys in a bucket. He also loves flipping upside down, movement songs like patty cake, walking while holding his hands, being tossed in the air, and stuff like that.

Dancing, airplane, being thrown in the air, helping me fold diapers, singing (pat-a-cake, head, shoulders, knees and toes, etc). We will also sit and give kisses. She loves to take showers with me.

We do lots of singing - the grand ole duke of york, zoom zoom (we're going to the moon), if you're happy and you know it, old macdonald, the ABCs, etc. 

We play peek a boo, play with balls.. it's basically a full day of baby entertaining that goes on here.

We pretty much do all of what's been said. But it doesn't matter how entertaining I try to be, joining big bro in whatever choke-able item he is playing with is the best thing in the world!

Haha yep this! And/or going after any toy his brother is playing with, & trying to knock over any block towers his brother builds. Hence why his new nickname is Deaky-zilla. Haha
