First, I want to say how anxious and nervous I was this time around. I had a c- section with my daughter and was trying for a VBAC this time. I also want to thank my LB @ktcort13‌ for keeping everyone updated. Here's my story!

Around 2:15am on June 1st, I went to the bathroom and had bloody show. The contractions started shortly thereafter. Although regular at every 5 minutes, they were only moderate. I walked around my house and then I felt a small gush around 4am. I thought it might be pee but since I was GBS positive, we decided to head in to get checked.

We arrived at the hospital around 4:45am. I ended up being 3.5cm dilated which was great since I was not dilated at my last appointment May 27th. They also did a test to see if my water really did break and it had so I was admitted. I had to have antibiotics since I was GBS positive which is why I didn't attempt to labor at home any. I ended up getting an epidural when I was around 6cm dilated which was wonderful! It did seem to decrease the contractions though but the peanut ball helped with that.

At 12:40pm I began pushing and Lucas Christopher arrived via VBAC at 1:35pm and was 7lbs14.6oz. and 20.5"...proof that 2nd babies and boys aren't always bigger than first babies! His big sister weighed 8lbs15oz!

I did have a really bad tear and episiotomy probably due to his 14" head! My midwife had to call my OB in to repair it which took an hour and a half! Thank goodness for that epidural! The entire experience has been better than my c-section so far!
