How many snappies?

For those that use prefolds with a snappi, how many do you have? I bought a pack of 3 figuring that'd be plenty, but they keep going missing. Is this common or am I just that scatter-brained?

I had 3 snappis. We did prefolds from 2 weeks to 8-10 weeks.

Snappis disappear like crazy. I don't know how it happens, they just grow legs and walk away I guess.

I am extremely scatterbrained and I bought six for my newborn stash that was about half prefolds. i still lost them constantly.

I think I have about 8, but I know where 3 or so are at any given time.

I think I was gifted a pack of 5 that was on my registry. If they went missing, they were usually in the diaper bag. DH broke the little rubber "handle" part off of one at one point too. It still works, it's just kind of a pain.

I have 2 in cloth and have 4 snappis, 2 boingos, and 4 pins.  I only really use 2 snappis for my youngest but like to have the others in case one were to break.  The boingos aren't really my thing.  And I have tried the pins but they aren't the easiest to use IMO. I have never lost any of those but I am anal like that.

I have a pack of 5 and I usually know where 3 are at any given moment. The cats sometimes steal them off the changing table and I'll find them scattered randomly through the house. I just pick up any I find wandering off and return them to the changing table.

I have a bunch to keep upstairs, downstairs, and in the diaper bag. I was tired of getting the prefold on and then not having a snappi on hand! I just got some boingos and I already know I'll somehow end up with just one.

I have 3 but one was a score at the great cloth diaper change so I made due with 2 for a few months. Sometimes I mislay 1 and it is usually in the travel wet bag.

Glad I'm not the only one that misplaces them. I think my mom just bought me a fourth one, so maybe I will be able to keep track of at last two of them at any given time.lol

We've done fine with just two. We almost exclusively used prefolds for the first year, so one was always OTB. The other was either on the changing table or in the diaper bag.

I never washed mine. I think I may have wiped them once in a while :-/

One or two may have ended up in the wash a couple times on accident.

We had a pack of 3 and managed to not lose any.  We have 2 of the toddler size ones and they're still around.

I have 3. I have one in the diaper bag the other two either on her or in her room.

I have 5 and always misplace them. Most of the time they are in the diaper bag but sometimes I find them in the bathroom (it's where I rarely rinse them off).
