I sometimes wish there were a legal approval process for naming children.... in my own fantasy land.  Just at least where spelling is concerned, if nothing else.

My mom works for a pedi. She had a dad bringing a newborn in, and he couldn't remember how to spell her name. She said he was so embarrassed and that the name was his wife's idea.

I follow Fit Pregnancy on Facebook and they had a post today about "sassy" names.  You should see some of the ones people are posting!  Oh my God the spellings!
