Anyone else see this?

I'm not sure if I should laugh at how ridiculous this is, cry for that poor baby being drug down the aisle or just shake some sense into that stupid woman

Re: Anyone else see this?

  • I saw some of that online, but just got to read the story.  WTF??  I don't care if the baby was secure to the gown, how can you justify dragging a newborn/month old baby down a church aisle??  How about carrying her or having someone walk the baby down the aisle?

    SMDH!!!

I saw this too. Unbelievable. I wonder what the wedding guests said to her afterward? And for the love of God, why didn't someone stop her before she dragged that poor baby down the isle? Surely someone else there must have thought that was a horrible idea.

Yea...that's just weird. The wedding I was in a couple weeks ago they had two ring bearers. One was 6 years and one was 6 months. They had the 6 year old pull the 6 month old down the aisle in a wagon. I thought that was odd enough and was just waiting for the baby to roll off the pillow he was laying on into the side of the wagon... I guess it could have been much worse!
We had my nephew pull my niece down the aisle in a wagon, but he was four and she was one and a half, not an infant. It was actually super cute and they totally stole the show. But I wouldn't have done that with a little baby. Not a good idea.
  • Oh my god. People are so incredibly dumb sometimes. On top of this being ridiculous on it's own did you read the two comments she and her wedding coordinator said!?

"The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gona [sic] continue to be fine" ...

First of all grow up! I hate the "we do what we want when we want" and secondly....what in gods name (no pun intended) does JESUS have to do with you being an idiot!? Don't blame him for your stupidity woman. I highly doubt Jesus would have been carted around on the back of someone's wedding dress....

The newlyweds' wedding coordinator, Kaye Jordan, commented that the choice to strap their newborn to the dress has significant historical value: "It indicates the dedication of her mother (and father) toward caring for her child and family...A GOOD mother takes her child wherever she goes, even down the aisle."

Um? What? Does she know the definition of "significant historical value"? I don't know anywhere in our "significant history" where it was a good idea or common to tie your 4 week old baby to a dress and DRAG THEM DOWN A DIRTY ASS FLOOR lol. I must have missed that class in school.

Lastly...the wedding guest that said "it brought tears to me eyes..." Uh yeah...it's bringing tears to a lot of people's eyes but not for the same reason.

    Ok. Rant over.
