AF Confusion

I've only had 3 periods since I went off BC last July.  One in Sept, one in Oct, and once induced by provera in Feb.  So I'm on the bench waiting for some testing, and I thought, it's been awhile, maybe I should induce another period while I'm waiting.  I asked my RE, he had me go in for an ultrasound to check my lining to see if I need to or not.  Turns out my lining is thin, no period needed.  Literally 2 hours after I leave the office, I get my period.  Does anyone else feel like they have no idea what their body is doing??
