Argh I know, it's annoying. Feel free to e-throw things at me and tell me I'm being stupid and I shouldn't compare and that all babies are different. I know all that. Just wanted to see if anyone else was in the same boat as me on this since IRL it seems like all my mommy friends' babies are way ahead.
Are all your LOs crawling by now? My baby girl turned 9 months yesterday and still no crawling. No standing, or pulling on things or swaying on her hips or any other sign of crawling really. She'll put weight on her legs if i hold her but she hates it. Her first reaction is to pull her legs up. According to our moms neither I or hubby ever crawled so maybe it's just genes?
Also, no toothies yet. None at all even though her gums are white and she's drooling enough to fill a bucket every day. But that's been going on for 2 months.
Anyone else experiencing the same?

My LO is 8.5 months and nowhere near crawling, and when I find myself worrying I go back to the research. If it makes you feel any better, I have 2 friends with LOs who are 8 mo and 9 mo, and neither of their babies are crawling either. My LO just got her first 2 teeth 2 weeks ago.
She also pivots around on her belly, she can move pretty quick by doing that and rolling. She has definitely tried pulling herself up on the coffee table but only with arm strength, she didn't use her legs so she didn't get very far. I've been trying to "show her" that she can hold on to it and pull etc. If I stand her at the table she'll stand there for a little before falling down.
The moms I know with babies that are younger or the same age seem more advanced but I've been just trying to focus on her and not the other babies, it is hard though not to compare!
Just today she got tooth number 6!!

Woah.
No teeth.
Army crawls.
Hasn't rolled back to belly at all.
Goes from belly to sitting.
Pulls up using my hands but no other objects.
Babbles Dadadadada and Babababba.
He sits unassisted and sits from laying down and is just starting to crawl. Very slowly and only a couple steps before he gets frustrated.
He just started pulling himself up in his crib and can stand for a few seconds holding on.
He babbles all day long- mama, dada, nana, baba are his favorites. I don't think he knows what he is saying tho.
DS had no teeth at all until he was 11 months. Even at 18 months he only had 4 teeth. DD has two now. Every kid is different, your pediatrician can tell you if anything is cause for concern but babies vary greatly when it comes to milestones.
Everyone pretty much covered it but no crawling, no teeth and no pulling up on things. She will be 9 Months on the 15th. She does roll to get around and rocks back and forth on all fours but nothing other than that. I'm just enjoying the gummy grins and not having to chase her down a little longer.
LO does not drink from a sippy cup and is just starting to get better at the pincher grasp so we'll be attempting more finger foods soon (she's only really had puffs and mashed potatoes like this).
This ^same as my little one
My son crawls and stands, but I swear that he's been trying to stand since the day he was born. He's never been the kind of baby to be satisfied sitting in one place or playing with one toy. However, I have friends with babies who are a month older than mine (my son is 8.5 months old) that still have trouble sitting up without falling over and that seem to have no interest in crawling. Still others have babies who scoot backwards instead of crawling forward.
Is your baby more advanced in another area? I recently read an article that said sometimes it takes them so much effort to perfect one area of expertise, that the other areas might slip a little. Is your little one babbling a lot or really good at self-feeding? Mine seems to be behind on talking - Maybe because he spends all his time trying to figure out how to get his hands in the cat's food dish
