I ovulated on the 25th of may and need to wait until June 4th to take a test since that is 10dpo. I'm dying over here I just want to take a test!! Also if I wait longer i know I have a better chance of accurate results. Ughh!
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
I also would wait past 10dpo but we will be leaving for a road trip this Friday. I really want to do it before we leave. But I'm also mist likely going to bring another test with me so I can test again a week later.

How do you know you ovulated? Are you temping and confirmed it, or just just used OPKs and had a surge? If it's the latter, you may have to wait longer...
I know because of ovulation cramps and I used a tracker with my period which said I would be ovulating on May 25th. Broke down and took a test today at 9dpo... Just couldn't wait even though I knew it was really early. It was negative. I've just not been myself lately and my sex drive dropped so I just felt the need to take a test. Oh well, I buy the cheap ones anyways.
I would recommend checking out the newbie blog on Trying to get pregnant. Those trackers can be highly inaccurate as can cramps. The only way you can confirm ovulation without the help of a Dr is to track your temperature.
The TWW is hard. This is my first official TWW while trying to conceive and I am trying to hold out until Saturday. I get it.
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

Yes and BBT will tell you more accurately when to take a test. Many people don't use it time time sex, you can use FAM to help time sex but it's best function (IMO) is to know when to test.
My average cycle is any where from 30 to 50 days. The predictor you are using would most likely tell me I ovulste st 14days which I have never done before and would probably be entirely inaccurate. It would be frustrating to "know" when to test except the test is negative and my period is no where to be seen.
Your leuteal phase (time between O and your period) is relatively consistent only varying a few days from cycle to cycle. Where as when you ovulate can vary by weeks. Once you know you have ovulated (by tracking your temps) you know exactly when your period should arrive and thus when to test. But using the ovulation predictor app is just guessing.
You are better off testing 2wks after you have sex.

Its not so much that I want to know when to have sex, its more to know when to take a test!
