kolcraft contours LT vc city select babyjogger double

I have a double bob for running but i am looking for a stroller for the twins to take them shopping, running errands etc. and i need to be able to fit through doorways. i am choosing between the double city select tandem and the kolcraft contours LT. opinions on either??

  • I have the Kolcraft Contours Optimum. It's OKay but not great. It's SUPER long. It looks like the Kolcraft you are looking for is shorter so that might not be an issue. Other things I dislike- there are so many parts to snap and unsnap, it's crazy big in the back of my car, it's really heavy and the parent tray isn't all that. Things I love- the drive, I can steer it with one hand, I can go off road, the look of it and the storage bin. I hope that helps.

  • We also have the kolcraft optimum. After using it 4 times two pins fell out. apparently VERY common issue. I never would have noticed until we hit a tiny rock and the damn thing collapsed in ( no babies were in it yet! thankfully!) then 30 minutes on hold and email after email of photos they said its a manufacture issue and are "looking into it and will give us an answer soon." awful customer service and not worth buying this particular brand. I recommend to keep looking.

  • I have the contours and so far love it. Like pp said, it's long, but drives super well and has a huge basket. We put 2 adult camp chairs & DS's camp chair in it plus the diaper bag and still had some room. I've only been using it for 2 weeks, so far no issues. This one though has no parent drink area, so that was one negative & no kid trays although DS never used the tray on his single stroller. Overall though, love it!
