Where the heck do I put this monitor?

Hey everyone! I went to set up the video monitor in the nursery tonight and no matter what I just can't get a good view of the crib - always too high or low and the monitor itself will rotate with the controls. Currently I have it on a dresser across the room but it's kind of far. Where did you put yours to get a good angle? Did you find something high to put it on? Thanks!

Ours for DD is hung on the wall directly above her crib pointing straight down at the crib so the view I get is of the entire crib from above.

We put up a small shelf right next to the crib and used a hockey puck to angle the camera down into the crib more.

I just did a quick google search to find a picture of what I'm talking about and this is the closest I could find. Our is centered over the crib though and at the top of the wall near the ceiling. I'm attaching this picture on mobile so I think you have to click on it to see it better.

We have the cord going along the top of the wall in the crease between the wall and ceiling so it's not noticeable and it's not a safety hazard having it go straight down behind the crib like in this picture

Mine can hang on the wall. It is like a little eyeball that you use the controller to move around but when it sits on the dresser, the sides of the crib are in the way. Look and see if you can just hang it on the wall above the crib.

We hung ours on the wall over the crib. It also pans around the room for when DS is playing in there.

I looked and low and behold the back of it has a place to hang it. Thanks everyone!
