stressing...ttc sorta

Hello. New here to the bump! I have a question and please feel free to answer. Not sure if It has been asked but I can't seem to search very well on my phone...

Anyways...here is a rundown. Hubby and I went on vacation. Guess who forgot their BC? me! Anyways...I was one pill into the light blue pills on ortho tri cyclen lo. Well I told hubby and we still had sex...unprotected...and yeah the WHOLE shebang happened. Anyways it's been 10 days since and we had unprotected sex probably 3 times. Question is how soon can I test for an accurate result? I tested two Days ago and got a negative but I think that was way too soon. Oh I started bleeding lightly at first and now it's heavy about three days ago. It's not my period because my period is due sometime next week. I have sore boobs and that's about it for symptoms...oh and peeing a lot. Not sure when to test or if I am even pregnant.
I say we are ttc sort of because we definitely were going to start trying later this year. I have been taking folic acid and stopping my intake of certain food (sushi..alcohol) to better prep my body. So yes it would be a few months earlier than expected but we are both married, approaching 30 and financially and emotionally where we want to be so it wouldn't be any issue. Any ideas when it would be ideal to test? Is there even a need to be concerned? Thanks in advance and please excuse any spelling mistakes as this was all typed on my phone

I second this. If you stopped taking your pills early, then your withdrawal bleeding would come early, unless you actually got pregnant. If you did manage to ovulate when you missed the pills, 10dpo could turn a test. But a negative hpt along with bleeding at this point most likely means you are not pregnant.

All this. Whenever I missed pills my periods got all wacky for a couple months. If you are bleeding enough for it to be noticeable then it is probably your period meaning you are not pregnant. Just retest in a week if you aren't convinced.

I concur with previous PPs. Your period came early because you stopped your bc early.

I've missed many a pill and everytime I did my period came early. I'm betting it's your period.

Negative test + heavy bleeding (aka your period) = not pregnant.
