I wanted to AW my Pinterest-inspired water wall I made for DS today. I'm done teaching for the summer, so show me your latest project and inspire me! I love all things crafty/DIY/sewing/crochet.
My craft area is currently full of furniture we're holding for someone who lost everything in the flood. As soon as it's cleared out I plan to start on things for the baby.
So far I've only used Pinterest for tips/tricks. And FYI, baby powder does wonders to get sand off of little toes at the beach. (Big toes, too!)

Don't have any pictures, but other than various baking and dinner recipes, my last craft project was burp cloths for part of my cousin's shower gift. I'll be making up some more for my own use soon!
#1 is my pregnancy announcement I mixed some photo ideas I got from Pinterest #2 is a baby quilt my mom and I just finished for a friend whose baby has a lego themed room.
This was Pinterest inspired, but I didn't use a tutorial. I just winged it and figured it out myself! I made this for my foster son's bedroom. I think it's being moved to the guest room soon.
We made this sprinkler out of PVC pipes last weekend. And by "we" I mean that I saw it on Pinterest, told my husband he should make it, and he made it. It's kind of a crappy picture because it was so bright out. I'm pretty sure I had more fun running through it than Madi did.
Had to AW this, since I'm so proud. Made a Kid Wash today! Cost a grand total of $15 and took about 45 minutes (because my drill battery died in the middle). The mister jets are great! The kids got soaked because they stood under it, but I walked through and pretty much just got cooled off.
I'm currently working on another chevron blanket for my girlfriends baby shower! Super easy! I'll be making a few more maxi dresses here soon, and some baby boy burp cloths.
So many crafty ladies! I pretty much use pinterest for wreaths, I have to have one for every season/reason .
@runningmama14 I love the dachshund! I have one named Gus who has been my baby up til this point . I may have to try my hand at that.
Here are a few of my favorite wreaths:
I love your wreaths!! I've always had the best intentions but have never followed through with actually making one!!
Thanks! It's pretty much my stress relief lol. I'll sit for hours happily making them . . . it's about as far as my creativity goes though . You should try to make one sometime, pinterest has great ideas!
@dgbwife - gotcha . And I totally feel you. If I spent as much time actually making crafts as I did looking at crafts on pinterest . . . yeah I'd need a bigger apartment, lol.
I crochet a lot of things that I've found on Pinterest, but I always forget to take pictures.
My most-used Pin is this recipe for Blueberry Greek Yogurt Pancakes. I work every other weekend, but always make them on Sunday mornings when I am off. They are sooooo good! And healthier than traditional pancakes. Here's a picture I took a few weeks ago.
Just made these wall flowers tonight, think I'm gonna spray paint them and make a few more for one of our bare walls. One is made from plastic spoons and the other from pistachio shells.
Not really. I took an old end table my mom had from when I was little and took it apart. You could check Saint Vinny's or Goodwill for an end table that might work. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the hole in the top for the Lego bucket, measured about a 2 inch edge all around. I drilled some holes in the corners so I could use the saw. Sanded (this took the longest as I did it by hand) and then spray painted; Sweet Pea picked the color. Once dry I put it back together and used an epoxy glue to attach the flat Lego sheets.
Ah... nope! I want to though. DS can't use little legos yet so it on the back burner right now. Also looking for a cute basket for the top instead of the bucket.
I do have about 15 other projects to do right now including a living room table, TV stand and some maternity shirts from men's t-shirts. I need more hours in the day!

@pandacon - I MUST do this. Do you have a tutorial you follow?

I'm making it up as a go a little! There was a sale on some great colored mens t-shirts (bright pinks/blue/orange) so I snagged a couple at about $3 a piece. I figure if I ruin them all it was only $12. If it works out I'll have 4 shirts for $12!
I made one last pregnancy out of a large t-shirt of mine. I am going to use a currently fitting maternity shirt as a guide and then gathering the sides and see what happens!
I get my sewing machine back from my mom this weekend so I hope to have a few done early next week! I'll post when I make them!
I've started on a quilt for the nursery. I know she can't use it now but she can use it later or for tummy time. I also have a lovie, throw pillows for the armchair and curtains to do. I'm pretty excited about the fabric I found. I plan on doing the curtains in the zebra pattern.

Dammit. I meant @AeandJb. I hate that it will randomly decide that I don't get to edit a post.
