Spotting..could it be from progesterone??

Today I am 6w2d. I did an FET on 5/6. I have been on progesterone injections since a couple of days before the transfer. This morning when I went to the bathroom I noticed a brown discharge/spotting. Has anyone experienced this? Could it be from the progesterone shots? I have only been pregnant one other time & it ended in m/c so I am so worried!!!!

Are you still doing the shots? I know suppositories can cause spotting from internal irritation, but I've never heard of the shots themselves causing spotting.

Have you had sex recently? Or a BM? Over exert yourself physically at all? Those can all cause spotting. I'd try and take it easy and drink lots of water today.

I was told that Crinone can cause spotting, but I don't know if it's because it's a physical irritant or if it is from the progesterone itself (so I don't know how that relates to shots). If you are worried or if it gets worse, you could make a call to the on-call nurse at your clinic.

I hope that it's nothing to worry about!

Thanks guys. I did call my RE & the nurse said this is normal and very common. Praying it's nothing!

I'm also pregnant from FET and I had brownish spotting until 7 weeks or so. It was a little heavier after my first ultrasound. Dr said it was completely normal. Try not to worry (which I know is horrible advice...)

Im late to this thread I see you already called your doc, glad your doc thinks its normal I hope it stops PGAL brain is a bitch sometimes last thing you need to see is spotting!
