I swear you have to be a freaking genius to transfer videos on a Sony Handycam from internal to external memory...
format the memory card by clicking something in the menu option that doesn't remotely make me think it has something to do with formatting a memory card.
transfer by clicking something else, again, that doesn't resemble transfering... repeat the formatting of the memory card. wth.
I. Am. Done. Just so very done. I am selfish and don't want to worry about anybody else, just for a couple hours! But no, that's not in the cards for at least a few more weeks. Between husband's school and my promise to help out hauling my sister's kids to appts and such and family visiting, I am booked till like August. Blah.

Originally put this in the weekday randoms but it's the weekend now!!!
DH and I went to the Phillies game last night and ended up at a bar connected to the stadium the entire time. A few friends from his job showed up a bit after we ate and we got hammered. Oops. But they knew so much about me. I was shocked, and impressed.
@mmnumber5 is you DH flying with you? Take a dose of Benadryl, it helped me relax while flying and my doc was the one who suggested it. I'm not a great flier at all, I normally have to take Xanax or Valium to get on a plane and i still freak out the entire time. I just don't like it.
But have a safe flight and I'm still praying for your uncle!
My husband comes home today he has been gone since Wednesday for work. I should have scheduled a facial for myself this afternoon my face looks like a teenager what the hell.
I was looking at dates this morning for Disney World. Either October 14-21 or November 4-11. Any other bumpies visiting that time of year? I would rather see the Halloween decorations this year since we already did the Christmas ones last year.
Oh! I told @chricast yesterday but forgot to tell you guys.
My dcp's husband is Air Force and they got orders earlier this week. Japan. I'm heart broken. I love her. Bailey loves her. I love her kids. She leaves in February and is "quitting" in 3 weeks but told me she would keep Bailey until January. Apparently Bailey is an amazing angel child when she's there and B and her 2yo are BFFs and laugh at each other all day. I'm excited for them, Japan sounds pretty awesome. But still...
@chricast I have been for Halloween, years ago. We may go down in the fall for a quick visit if I decide to go visit my grandmother when my mom goes this fall, grandma lives an hour away from WDW.
ETA: also make sure you will be there for the food and wine festival at Epcot that happens in the fall. That was more important when we went than the Halloween decorations.
I got drunk last night. It was fun. But it's the most I've drank since probably before pregnant with C. So today I'm paying for it. Thankfully DH got up with the girls. Now I need all the coffee. Later we're going to my grandmas 90th bday. She's my only alive grandparent and I'm looking forward to it.
@awesomesauce123 the food and wine festival runs from September 19-November 10. I'm hoping to be pregnant by then so no wine (most likely) for me but food is always delicious.
We had DS1'S party at this lego place from 10-12. E screamed the first half hour we were there and my friend who agreed to watch E at the party didn't show up until 11. It was hard. Not to mention how icky I'm feeling. I feel like I was hit by a truck. I took a nap from 1:30-3 when the thunderstorm woke E up. DS1 is sleeping on the couch while I watch movies with E. I just have zero energy. I'm still going out for sushi with my friend because I need a night off from bath and bedtime duties.
@chricast are you TTC now? or in a few months? We went to Disney when I was 9 weeks pregnant with DD and although it was fun because it was Disney, I didn't enjoy the food (usually my favorite part of the trip!) because of morning sickness, I felt nauseous and tired for most of the trip and fell asleep at like 8 pm every night at the hotel (then DH would go back to the parks alone without me). I couldn't imagine also having a toddler on top of that. But then I was miserable my whole pregnancy, you might be completely different. Just something to think about when planning.
ETA: I think I would have been okay if we went in the beginning of my second trimester after the nausea faded some, but we had already book the trip months before.
@sillygirl85 I may be completely off here, but weren't you in the process of writing a book? or did you write one? I think you talked about it a long time ago. how is that going?
@awesomesauce123 we are going to TTC in July or August. I remember hating food from 8-12 weeks pregnant due to nausea and constipation. I dont want to plan around TTC because we never know what will happen with me and pregnancies.
Yeah there's no way I'd try to take the girls to the theater at this age... I judged a mom HARD when she brought her three kids to Magic Mike, which is incredibly raunchy if you haven't seen it. I'd say the kids were 8, 6 and 3ish if I had to guess. The youngest cried a lot but they never left. Poor kids!
Interesting poop-filled evening we had. I thought the girls were throwing rocks in their pool... WRONG! It was turds that must have escaped the swim diaper. Then K rubbed it in her hair. Then in the process of dragging them in the house to the bathtub, J put a piece of apple in her mouth that was on the floor. The problem being that she had poop hands. It'll be a miracle if they don't get E. coli and pink eye! :-L
I deep cleaned today and am exhausted now and ready for bed. To bad little man is still up playing almost three hours past bedtime and I'm not even sure he I tired yet!
I chopped my hair off again today. I haven't cut it since the last time I asked for opinions maybe 4 or 5 months ago. It got so long! I got a reverse bob this time. I like it but need to style it with my products to see how it actually looks.
@NeedUtonite This is when I would put him in the carseat and get myself a fries and milkshake. He often is able to fall alseep better in the car when something is not right and then I am able to transfer him to his crib.
The static on the slide at the playground across the street is so bad that when we slide down my face actually hurts. I need to invent something to fix this.
Mambo, I'm always annoyed when people don't attempt to baby proof their houses, but I suppose it's their house and they don't have to. I would always babyproof my house before my nephews came over, though.
And also the food thread made me think to tell you that food commercials on tv are really working on my girls. They saw a tater tot commercial today, looked at me and made the eat sign. Little turds had just eaten lunch, too!
