His first name. And yes, he has a special ring tone.

First and last name because it got imported from an old phone like that and DH has a very common name so he was one of several in my phone at the time. I added ICE under his name tho so if someone has to look through my phone they know who to contact. No special ringtone. So practical and boring.
Well I feel boring... I have him saved as his name with no special ring tone. .. can I blame my new phone for this?
I haven't messed around with ring tones on my new one yet, but I got an app to set different led light colours. The small light in the top left flashes a different colour based on notification. DH has his own colour.
"The Hubs"...with no special ringtone because phone is always on silent anyway, which I'm trying to be better about because I miss so many calls, oops! :-/

The one I use is Light Flow (there's also light manager).
I got really excited when I found it because I loved when I had my blackberry I could identify people messaging me that way. I missed it with iPhone for the last 6 years.
He's in there as "FirstName Employer." That's because he used to have a personal phone, and when he started his new job, he had two phones so I needed to distinguish between the two. Now he ditched the personal phone, but I haven't changed it. Because lazy.
He's "Big Stink" in my phone. I'm "Little Pants" in his, and the photo that comes up when I call is the one I posted a million years ago that haunted you all for months:
It's just his first name with a pic of him and DD2. He does have a special ring, "Good Thing" by Trip Lee. It rings "You'll always be my love. I love you, I'll never leave, I want it to be...always you and only you... I found a good thing" It makes my heart warm everytime he calls.
I'm a sinner saved by grace and a child of the Attitude Era (Oh you didn't know?!?)

And now it will continue to haunt us for many more months.
Mine's in there as ICE - First name Last name with a little heart and I have "our" song as his ring tone. I also have my phone locked, but since it's an emergency contact, it's still accessible without having to enter the password.

This info is also good to have in case you ever lose your phone and it's locked. The person who finds it can easily call your emergency contact. I just downloaded the app to make a custom wallpaper and put "in case of emergency or lost phone, call:"
He is "Sexy Husband-y" in my phone. My phone used to wolf whistle at me when he called but my phone updated itself a couple of days ago and I haven't fixed it yet.
I don't lock mine, but on my S4, if you do lock it, you can set emergency contacts that can be called even if it's locked. Or I used to put an emergency contact # in the text on the screen, too, forgot to do that on my new phone.
I didn't know about these apps!! I'm so excited! Thanks F14!
it was a nickname I had for him but I changed it because people who saw his name come up kept asking what it meant. now it's his name and ICE afterwards. he has own ringer and his own text message sound. because special.
Bit of a thread jack here....I have an "in case of emergency" card in my wallet, diaper bag, car and stroller. I don't have this ICE or equivalent on my phone...I've always been under the impression in an emergency EMTs/whoever will look through a wallet/purse etc. ...not play around figuring out different phone models trying to find an emergency contact... assuming the phone isn't damaged/battery dead.
Fwiw I'm not against this info being in your phone, I just hope everyone has a "hard copy" too.

I've also seen one as a sticker on the car seat in case of an accident. Name of kid, parents, and emergency contacts.
Re: DH/SO's Contact Name
The imperial march (Darth Vader theme) plays when he calls :-D
I've been to too many traumas in the ER where we didn't know who to call.
I figure if anyone went through my phone, I'll make it easy for that person to find my emergency contact.
I did it as a joke while playing with Siri and never changed it.
No special ringtone. But the ringtone on my phone is the Breaking Bad theme song!

and he's just in there under his first name.
For those of you with the emergency contact thing, do you not lock your phone with a pass code? It's kind of a good idea...

His ringtone is "no one like you" by the scorpions :-)
