Yesterday, I was granted the final restraining order! We have been at this since march and I was so nervous about whether the judge would grant it or not. He was found guilty of 2 counts of domestic violence and criminal mischief. I feel such a sense of relief knowing I am protected. Now if I could only get in front of a judge to get this divorce moving forward I would be a happy camper! So for all if those who helped me, thank you!
Also, I'm trying to recoup some legal fees. There is nothing worse than paying a huge retainer, being asked to then replenish a retainer for a divorce but really Only being represented for domestic violence. I should not have to pay for him being cray cray any more than I already have in life.
