I'm due 6/27 too and it's my first which I figure means she'll go late ... my mom was a week late with me and my brother both. Maybe she'll hit my brother's birthday (6/29) or my mom's (7/2). I would check in on a thread like that

Still here! EDD is June 5th. Not much is going on though and we have a tentative induction set for the10th if baby is still camping out by then!

6/25 here! The midwives say first time moms usually go to 41 +1, and while I'm uncomfortable, I'd love a July baby. I def. don't think he's coming early, he's all up in my ribs!

June 21 here and settling into the idea that he will probably be coming later, just hopefully not later as in July.

I'm due on the 12th too and my doctors have said throughout my pregnancy that I would probably go early...which means I'll probably have her two weeks late. Lol

Another June 18 edd here. While I haven't had any BH or regular contractions, I've been feeling "off" the past couple of days. Hoping she waits at least a week before arriving and hoping even more she's not late - all for selfish crazy reasons (cheer banquet and newborn photos). Plus I'm dying meet her and see what she looks like. Dr said that she's low and "in position" so we'll see. I was 2 weeks early but I know that doesn't really mean much.

Also, I love the idea of a weekly check-in!

I'm still here! Have to make it past my girls ballet recital (which is June 7th) then I'll be trying to get labor started after that!

MIL had a dream they had to rush me Chevy Chase style to the hospital right after the recital was over. Made me laugh!

Haha this is exactly why I suggested the second checkin so moms with outside babies won't feel left out. I'll sing kumbayah with you.

I'm surprised no one with an outside baby has started a Late Night Check In. Those things were lifesavers my first time around! It gave me something to keep me awake and interact with during MOTN feedings!

Le sigh...I'm still here. I was due yesterday. No biggie, my first was due Oct. 25th and came November 1st.

EDD is June 19th, so I'll be here for a while! DH would love for her to come ASAP, but I'm all for her staying inside until then. My mother is convinced that she'll come late...not a big fan of that theory!

For everyone whose doc/family/anyone said that they will likely go early. Don't set your heart in it.

With DD I went into preterm labour at 20 weeks, and had a couple small scares after that. The average pregnancy for people in my profession is 36 weeks because we are always on our feet, are dehydrated, work 100hr/wk, high stress, etc (surgeons).

I was so happy when I was still pregnant at 37 weeks, but then everyday past that annoyed me more. By 39 weeks I felt like I was 2 weeks overdue and was pretty bitter. By 40 weeks I was sure I would be pregnant forever. DD came at 40+2.

Baby will come. And the average FTM delivers at 41+4 (if I remember that correctly). Our board seems to have a crazy number of babies that want out early, but many if us will still be around for weeks.

I just remember how annoyed I was last time to still be pregnant even in the weeks before my due date, because everyone had been so sure I'd go early (and had struggled between 20-30 weeks not to). Easier said then done, especially in this heat, but just relax/nest/eat ice cream and baby will be here soon enough (this from the woman begging her doc to sweep her membranes at 37 weeks on the dot).

I'm here too due June 7. At my last week appt nothing had progressed so I'm expecting to be late. I'm cool with having an inside baby for a while longer if only because I'm freaked out about giving birth.

@JulieSmiles - We are in the same boat including EDD, except that my appointment is on Tuesday.  I'm 2cm dilated and about 70% effaced but LO is up too high.  Darn babies!!!

Due June 5th and I feel like I've been waiting for weeks already (doctor thought we would go early since things have been progressing). Spend everyday wondering if it's going to be today and it's driving me crazy. What are you guys doing to keep your minds off it?

@crhein26‌ I'm 70% effaced, but was only dilated 1 cm last week. Our babies are proving to be stubborn!

OMG yes! I went into PTL with DD at 33 weeks. By 36 weeks I was told I would go any day now. DD was born at 42 weeks.

Agreed!! My due date is still 3 weeks away and it feels like forever!! I'm getting jealous of all those mamas holding their baby's!! I've been told by an OB & yesterday by an RN that I won't make it to my due date...I'm kinda hoping they are right...as long as she's healthy!!!

Well considering there has been at least 50 births so far before we even hit June... Its kind of valid.. But not very funny.

I enjoy seeing who is still pregnant and where they stand progression wise as of now being pregnant.

I'm due 6/12....my doctor has been super careful about not giving me any hopes do deliver early- but man I've been fishing for them! My mom went early with my sister and myself so that's where my hopes come from. Everyday I wonder if it's the day. I'll just eat my sorrows until my baby decides to show his cute face.

I'm still here. I got a new cell phone so I haven't been able to post in a very good while. Anyway I'm due June 9th but I have a scheduled c section tomorrow the 2nd at 730 a.m.

Well considering you have no idea what I meant by that, you should probably chill.

My comment has nothing to do with the fact that so many have been born. My comment was that even though MOST people aren't even due until June, it's funny that there is a need for a check in. These things usually happen when the majority are overdue.

Don't the daily ticker changes indicate who is still pregnant and where they stand progression wise?

Actually I'm kind of pissed that @SaraJoy00‌ is implying that I am in any way insensitive to the babies born early. What a Shitty thing to imply about someone who spends a good deal of time here and cares greatly about everyone here.

Sorry, just a little sick of going to a post and seeing negative remarks about the topic. I thought after 3 pages of positive feed back we would escape that in this feed but apparently not and a lot of people seem to be for the still pregnant check in as well as the already had my baby check in so why damper that?? Its a lot more convient to go to one place and be able to check in on everyone since there are so many of us then to check day by day who is still pregnant in the daily check ins.

Whoa there. All I did was state my opinion which I am absolutely entitled to. What you are saying is that if I don't agree with 10 people on this board, I am not allowed to say anything? Ummmmm, ok. Also, I'm not the one who pointed out your mistake so calm the f down. Eta if you don't like my opposite opinion, don't look, as you said yourself.

I mean it's obviously not valid in the feed if 1 person disagrees with 10, just leave it alone and walk away. Sorry, yes I am tired, in pain, and bitchy, so the slightest things are setting me off (I am sure like everyone else), and this is one of them.
