TTMA freetimes

A local mom wants to swap a freetime for a thirsties AIO. The thirsties just don't work for us and i got them really cheap,so I am cool with getting rid of one, but she said the aplix is "terrible", but the elastic is fine. I seem to hear about BG elastic wearing out a lot. Is it likely that the aplix would wear out that much faster than elastic? Is it easier to replace aplix, or convert to snaps? Worth it either way?

BG aplix is notorious for being sucky. So it doesn't shock me at all that it wore out before the elastic. It's not worth replacing the Aplix IMO. I've never converted to snaps, so I don't know about how hard that is.

I feel like both elastic and aplix(or snaps) would be easy on a pocket, but would it have to be completely taken apart on an AIO?
