My mouth is going to get me fired and other randoms

I have no filter. I am as blunt here as I am IRL. A co-worker known for drama was on vacation. He came in yesterday and asked what drama went on while he was gone. I responded without missing a beat, "Nothing you were gone." The manager keeps adding shit to my work load. I told her she was too high maintence and I needed a raise. She thought I was joking. I have been there a little over a month. I need a filter. I was born without one. Allie is now offically a second grader. She tested pretty damn high on her end of year test. She made perfect scores on her general ed test. Her gifted test showed a higher level than we got in Dec. She is going to be a smarter than me very soon. That is my radom post for a while.

    :) sorry but this actually made me chuckle. We do need more honest people in this world!

    I have a very strong filter, so I live vicariously though peeps like yourself who often say what I'm thinking. Usually by the time I have worked up the nerve to say something out loud, the moment has passed and it would be all kinds of awkward. Thus, most people think I am  nicer than I actually am. 

    We played Cards Against Humanity a couple of weeks ago with some friends and they were shocked by the cards I put down. It was hilarious and I won that game by a landslide. 

    Kudos to your girl - she sounds like a smart cookie!

    It's not that I don't have a filter, per se.  It's more than I don't waste time and energy blowing smoke up people's asses.  I'm very direct and honest.  And I think lying is an insult to a person's intelligence.

    So there are things I absolutely will never say, but my filter is not as stringent as most people's.

    Sometimes lack of a filter makes for easier communication though. I'd like to see that guy's face when you said that, though. lol.
