Storq maternity wear

Hey bumpies! Judging by the growing bumps we saw on HDBD this week, I am guessing almost all of us are dabbling in maternity wear by now (unless you get to wear a flysuit!!). I usually have at least one maternity piece on unless I'm in yoga/workout clothes. I've been drooling over the basics on Storq.com for a few months now and finally took the plunge this weekend and bought two pieces-- the dress and the skirt. They came in today and seem 100% worth every penny. They are made with two layers of super soft, stretchy fabric. Seamless with no tags! So comfortable and even kind of sexy.

I splurged on the organic lipstick, too. It's a great orangey red and perfect for no-makeup days when you need a little boost.

They have four basics and if you buy them in a bundle you save about 20 bucks. Definitely a step up from my Old Navy threads. Y'all have any other recommendations in this area? What has been your favorite maternity purchase?

  • I have some borrowed clothes from my sister, but I really need a couple pairs of slacks I can wear to work. Any good places to get maternity wear for tall people? Motherhood pants are like highwaters on me. I'm 5'9"

  • @MrsSarahRenee Dang, mama! You know what you like! Four pairs! NIce!

@Littledeer84 Maybe Gap has longer lengths? I know they do in non-maternity wear. So maybe!

I bought a pair of pants on pink maternity that were wayyyy too long. I am 5'3" so I don't know if they would fit

I've purchased about 7 tops and a few dresses from Isabella Oliver and love them all!  I also have a few tops from Seraphine that are equally as great.  I'm not in maternity bottoms yet so am looking for pants/skirt recommendations!

ETA:  Ingrid & Isabel is also great!

I have the same problem! Old Navy has tall sizes in pants/dresses in regular clothing and maternity, but usually only online. I've bought most of my maternity clothes there. The sizing can be tricky to get right sometimes, I've had to return some things. Try to time it with a free shipping code or spend at least $50 to get free shipping that way you're not wasting money if something doesn't work.

  • My favorite maternity purchase this round was a pair of black ankle-length dress pants from JCrew (They come in full length too and in tall sizes).  I already owned a JCrew black blazer and luckily they happen to match almost like a suit. They're a bit pricey but I waited til there was a 30% off everything online sale, which seems to happen about once a month.

I like the way old navy maternity fits me, but the quality is crap.  I think the Gap quality is higher, but the dresses never fit me right.

  • Holy frack!  $200 for four pieces?!?!  I must be super cheap because there is no way in hell I'm paying $50 a piece for something I will only wear for the next 5 months.

I'm sticking with Old Navy and Gap.  I guess I am lucky, my dress code is casual so I can get away with jeans and a top, no need for anything more!

  • @MrMrsandBaby‌ Haha normally I would share your outrage but I'm hoping this is not my only pregnancy. I can wear these pieces after birth and in my next pregnancies. It's great to have a couple quality pieces that I actually look forward to wearing.

I am currently in shock over this new development. All systems are down.

  • Now if only they had a wider selection! Only bottoms, but that's better than nothing! Also the style of pants I got have a small elastic triangle on the sides rather than a panel all the way around, which means I'm hoping they'll also be good for the post partum period while I'm losing the baby weight!
