After literally a week of getting the runaround by my pediatrician's office, we finally were able to schedule the blood draw for Alexander's microarray. (For those who didn't read my other post, his pediatrician thinks he could have a genetic disorder/syndrome.)
Lots of hugs! Those two weeks are hard (DS1 liked to get false positives when he was little so lots of retests), but at least you'll have answers at the end. Is there something specific they're looking for?
keags5496 did your son have genetic testing? Or something different?
He failed his initial newborn screen for metabolic disorders so they did testing for that. They were thinking he had a small chain fatty acid processing type disorder. Longest few weeks of my life. I might have hunted down the labs phone number and began calling them daily as the two week mark came close.

Oh also, We also had an amnio because of DS concerns and that was a two week wait too. Let me know if you need an ear to bend....I'd be more than happy to listen.

((Hugs)) hopefully you get the results quickly. I wish they could just give a specific date/time so you don't have to worry every time the phone rings.
