Cloth Diapering

Prepping for Dummies..

I have:

-10 BG 4.0
- 2 BG Freetimes
-10 Kawaii P&N's
- 2 Kawaii Heavy Wetter
-3 Kawaii Square Tabs

-Box of Tide Original Powder

I know I can wash all of these together and I think I only need to wash "once".

But does this mean wash once like I would a normal load of laundry or once the cloth diaper way (rinse, wash, rinse)? How much detergent to use? I thought I read like a tablespoon?

Lastly, since BG 4.0 were bought used (previous owner only used one or two times so they look brand new) do I need to do anything more extreme to these?

Sometime tell me exactly what I need to do please! I'll do whatever you say, even if it is sending cookies to your house!

Thanks! I'm a laundry idiot to begin with - I wash everything the same way except towels/underwear/sheets I get crazy and turn the dial to hot. I don't even really know what cycle I use - gentle, casual, etc. And I have never added bleach or fabric softener to anything. My mom feels like she personally failed in raising me right! Ha

You want nuts in those brownies?

I think I understand. I am going to wash once using Hot/Cold and turn knob (pictured below) to Casuals - Medium. Then once that cycle is completed and I would normally move clothes to dryer, I am going to turn knob (pictured below) to 'Rinse and Spin' in the Whites section. That should give me extra rinse? And then check during the middle of this rinse to make sure water isn't sudsy to ensure I didn't use too much detergent.

But when I wash the diapers after they first time they are used, I am going to do cold rinse, hot wash, then cold rinse?
