Parenting DVDs

Hi Ladies,

I saw the thread a couple of days ago regarding getting your partner to read parenting/ pregnancy books - and like most of the responses, my husband is also not much of a reader.  I do think he'd sit down and watch a DVD with me though.  As first time parents we are aware that some things you just sort of "figure out" along the way, but I'd like to educate myself (and my DH) as much as possible, prior to November.  I ordered the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD.  Does anyone know of any other DVDs that might be worth ordering?

Re: Parenting DVDs

  • We ordered a childbirth class DVD off Amazon but it has yet to arrive. We won't be watching for a while but will be giving that a try first before signing up for a class.
  • Loading the player...
  • We have been watching some pretty funny YouTube videos about the first two weeks with a newborn. We like watching real people deal.
I would encourage this because any one video is only about 9 min long and we take turns choosing them.
