So now that most of our LO's have turned one or are very soon! What are your favorite toys they have received or you have purchased for this age? We have a bunch of gift cards and I am at a loss for what toys are worth it and what ones are not! Thanks for any ideas!
He got this elephant ball thrower thing that he loves. But really, he mixes it up all the time. He plays with that and his quad a ton. He also loves any sort of ball.
TTC #2: March - May 2014 - Natural cycles - no luck June 2014 - Clomid 50mg - BFN July 2014 - Clomid 50mg - BFN August 2014 - Clomid 50mg - BFN September 2014 - Clomid 50mg - Fingers crossed...
Remotes, cell phones, diapers (clean), water bottles, etc. He rarely plays with toys, although he does walk around the house with his plastic golf clubs.
Toys? Babies are supposed to play with toys?? *sarcasm* I swear my child only likes whatever is in the garbage right now. LOL When he does play with his toys, he loves Alphapup and Scout, both LeapFrog toys, and both he got for his birthday from grandparents. He also loves his ring stackers, but not to stack, and he loves his inflatable beach ball.
He loves any toy that involves putting something in and taking it out. We have a nemo toy where he puts nemo inside the cave and closes it and then a hand me down Sesame Street play house that opens up. He sticks all the characters in, closes it, opens it to take them out. Over and over.
Her very favorite thing is a pink tea set. The kettle sings and has flashy lights. She also loves stacking toys, blocks, and stuffed animals. Non-toy favs are baskets of laundry. She will sit and study each piece of clothing that she takes out. Her cloth diapers are her favorites.
G loves a quart sized yogurt cup, its lid, and a couple of balls or small toys to put in, cover, shake, pull cover off, pull toys out, over and over and over and over. Lol.
He also loves a little toy iPhone, Tupperware, his stacking cups, and his his Stage 2 car that he can sit in and pretend to steer/honk.
DD LOVES stuffed animals and baby dolls. She walks around hugging them. Though She also puts the dolls in the dishwasher, so maybe we have some work to do before the new baby comes.
J loves the Tupperware cupboard. If I had some giftcards I would get the Tupperware that stacks with lids that lock together because he is constantly stuffing the lids underneath the cabinet and losing them.
Aside from that, he loves his play kitchen. He loves to open the doors and play in the "sink." Yesterday, after watching Daddy do dishes, he went over to his play kitchen and stood infront of the sink to do like Daddy did!
B loves anything he sees his brothers playing with! As for baby toys - he loves balls, and he just got into playing with Mega Blocks. He doesn't quite know how to connect them yet, but he enjoys making a mess with them.
