This is a weekly check-in for members in their third trimester. You can feel free to join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell when you greet your little ones!
Hi ladies! @Katekat8721 is in labor! I hope i'm not stepping on anyones toes but I'm posting the check-in since i'm sure she has her hands full! but I can't continue the check-ins so if anyone would like to take over that would be great! Sending prayers for Katekat and the girls! How far along are you? Upcoming appointments? Any updates to share? How are you feeling?
QOTD: What are you going to miss the most about being pregnant?
AFM: I had an MFM appointment today and despite having gestational diabetes, baby looks great and is measuring in at 3lb 6ox (51 percentile.) So she is only just a tiny bit bigger than average. I take managing my GD very seriously and I'm so glad to hear good news like this at the appointments. Fluid looks great, cervix is nice and long so all is wonderful on the home front.
And baby has a head of hair that apparently the ultrasound tech could easily see! I wouldn't love her any less if she didn't, but it's fun to be able to imagine her different physical traits as I daydream about her. I'll be taking a special snowflake bow that I got as a gift from a friend to the hospital for her first pictures.
I'll AW for a second and here is a picture of her little face today. I never thought I could love a baby as much as I do her. It's just amazing. (holding back tears of joy over here)

How far along are you? 39 weeks and 6 days! 40 Weeks tomorrow omg!
Upcoming appointments? NST and check up on friday if baby hasn't shown up yet.
Any updates to share? Just waiting.....
How are you feeling? So done. I cry when I have to get out of bed or change positions because my hips literally feel broken. I have a constant dull head ache and I feel huge! Everyone has texted or called me or my H today to ask us if the baby is here yet. Its sweet but I also feel like a pot of water. Everyone is watching so of course I won't boil lol
QOTD: I am going to miss the selfish bond I have with my son. Right now i'm everything to him and he is everything to me. We are completely connected and it's only me and him. I hate the thought of having people come to visit because they will want to hold him and it gives me anxiety. I feel like with the exception of my H of course, I will probably have separation anxiety with him. Not because I don't trust other people but because I just selfishly want him to myself :P
Today I'm 28w5d and had my first BPP. Both babies passed with a 10 out of 10. Last week my cervix had shortened to 2.5 cm, so my OB put me on Procardia as a precaution. Hopefully I can get him to take me off of it since it makes my feet and ankles swell. Tuesday I had my 3 hr GTT and I'm working on a 24 hr urine collection today. I hope to get more good results this week! I see my OB tomorrow for my weekly check-up. Other than the uncomfortable swelling, I feel good.
QOTW: Hmm I think I'll miss the ease of not having diapers to change or midnight feedings, plus they are easier to carry around now than if they were outside babies. But, I'll gladly give all that up when I finally get to hold them in my arms!!

Hi ladies! I'm new to 3rd tri but would be happy to take over the check in if someone can give me a quick rundown and doesn't mind me doing so.
Today I'm 28 weeks 4 days and these little ladies are moving around like crazy. Got the results from my 3 hour glucose test and everything was normal and our last cervical check showed that my cervical length had impossibly lengthened to 1.6cm so up from 0.9. I'm thinking that I must have been contracting during the initial measurements and that's why it was so short. I guess the Procardia and bed rest are doing what they are supposed or and I'm pretty happy about it. Otherwise, no new appointments for a few weeks.
QOTW: I will definitely miss the baby kicks. I love being able to feel them at certain times throughout the day.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow with my MFM and also I begin non stress tests. I'm a bit nervous about that part because I think I've been having some contractions and I really don't want to be induced. I'd like to TRY to go natural.
Any updates to share? Belly is just so tight but excited to see it growing and for our shower on Sat.!
Qotw: I'm going to miss feeling baby move. I have felt movement since 16 weeks. But I'm so excited to find out girl or boy and to see my husband with baby;)
So exciting labor is starting for people in 3rd tri! Love seeing the announcements.
Started ttc may 2012 Me:32. Dh:31

I'm 33w3d. I feel OK. Carpal tunnel continues to cause soreness/frustration and
after seeing some initial improvement with the wrist brace, now I am not so
sure it is helping that much. My wife said this morning, "Is there
anything they can do to make it better?" and I said, "Yeah -- they can
deliver the baby." Of course no one is delivering a baby before he's
ready because of carpal tunnel! Fortunately the rest of my body feels
OK. Heartburn has been intense but Zantac is helping. I think I am starting to get a little waddle but that is not
surprising.
Had an uneventful OB appointment last week. I had
gained 6 lbs (in 3 weeks) but my OB was OK with it, my overall weight
gain being still in the range she is hoping for. I had been slipping a
little on the healthy eating so I am trying to be better about that and
about my daily walks. So far, so good.
We drive down to NJ on
Friday for our first (of two) big family baby showers. I am looking
forward to it (not the drive but the weekend) but also feeling a little
overwhelmed. And I'm still stressed out about the state of our nursery,
but the painter came today and a potential wallpaperer(?) is coming tomorrow.
QOTW: Feeling him move!

Best wishes for a smooth delivery @katekat8721! Thanks @MishaBelle521 for posting the check-in! I hope your baby boy decides to make his arrival soon!
I am 36 weeks and had my weekly appointment yesterday. All was good and I
will be finding out my Group B Strep results at next week's
appointment. Since the OB was doing the Group B Strep test, she decided
to check my cervix as well and I am a fingertip dilated she told me.
Tonight I *think* I lost my mucus plug (clear and stringy) which has me
somewhat freaked out as I was planning on keeping this baby in for 4
more weeks! Seems kind of coincidental that I had my cervix checked
yesterday and then I noticed my mucus plug today. I hope I still have weeks left before our baby girl makes her arrival!
QOTW: I feel like I am able to do a good job protecting her while she's inside of me. Once she's born I'm going to miss not being able to protect her as well as I can now. But I am so excited to meet her!
I am currently 30 weeks...wow! I had ob and mfm appointments last week. Gracie is measuring 2pounds 11 ounces / 25 percentile. Since I am a type 2 diabetic, the mfm was very happy with her size. We scheduled my c-section for 8/5, so less than 10 weeks until we meet her.
QOTD: I will miss having her with me all of the time and getting to feel her movements that make me happy every time I feel them :-)
8/2011: Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, ovaries and tubes removed
Hello ladies, I would like to be added! I am 28w3d and due Aug 18th with a baby boy. Not a lot to report here just so happy to officially be in the 3rd tri!! I got my gtt results back and passed which is always a relief! Baby boy is getting bigger everyday! Now I can feel body parts just not exactly sure what they are! Other than this migraine I have today things are going well!
QOTW: i will miss being so close to my little man and feeling him and having him with me all day. But honestly it doesnt compare to how bad I cant wait to hold him!!
Hi ladies! Hope summer is treating you all well! We've hit 30w 2d, although DH thought we were at our 27w appt when the nurse asked! Lol! Guess I need to keep him up to speed better. Appt went ok, BP is up a bit and more swelling in my legs but no protein in my urine, so I'm attributing it to a long shift the night before and an early more appt I was overly tired for. Baby shower is on Saturday! I guess there's a LOAD of people coming; might need to take the pickup to get all the stuff home! I feel overwhelmed thinking of their generosity....and having to be the center of attention for more than 5 min! I am slightly dreading it for my BFF who's putting it on with the others. She's been dealing with IF for 2+ years now, and I don't want this to be a bad day for her, even though she says she's so excited. Any suggestions on what I could say to let her know I support her even if she isnt having fun, or having a super emotional day?
Quote: Im not sure what I'll miss! Pregnancy is definitely a job not for the faint of heart. Perhaps just having lil one all to myself will be hard to let go. But I'm so excited to see DH get to be a daddy hands on!!

Hi all, please add me to this group, I'm 28w2days--can't believe I'm finally in my third trimester. We are expecting a boy August 20 and can't wait to meet him. My husband and I got a nasty case of food poisoning earlier this week. Gross stuff coming out everywhere, but luckily it was over in 24 hours. I was able to stay hydrated and rested a lot, and the OB said taking Immodium AD was safe, so that helped. I had my glucose test yesterday, the drink solution wasn't that bad, it tasted like a flat orange drink. I have my OB appointment next week, and little guy is dancing and kicking up a storm. Sometimes it's hard to concentrate at work because he's moving around so much.
We have all of the nursery furniture, but still need to finish removing the last bit of wallpaper, repair the walls and paint. We also received a bunch of great baby stuff from a friend who had her son last year. Boppies, toys, swing etc. Overall I'm feeling good, still trying to go the gym at least 2x/week and my ballet class.
QOTW: I'm not sure what I'll miss about being pregnant--the only thing I can think of is how I get to spend alone time with him. It's pretty cool to have my little guy with me all the time to keep me company. I'm really looking forward to meeting him and watching him grown and learn, and for my husband and I to be parents. We waited a long time and can't wait to share the world with him.
AFM: I will be 33 weeks tomorrow! Can't believe how fast the weeks are going now. I have a weekly check-up today and had my 32w u/s last week. Baby boy measured 4.8 lbs and 9 days ahead while baby girl measured 4.5 lbs and 5 days ahead. I am so happy they are both growing so big, although each day just gets harder and harder for me. They both have hair on their little heads, so that was a fun new addition to see. Besides for all the typical aches and pains of being 33 weeks pregnant with twins, I am feeling pretty good. I want to keep these babies cooking a few more weeks but am so ready to not be pregnant anymore! We had our nursery furniture delivered yesterday, and it looks so good! I couldn't be happier with it. And it is so fun to walk past the room and see 2 cribs in there, totally surreal!!
QOTD: I will definitely miss feeling these guys kick and swim around in my belly. I think it's one of the neatest experiences ever. I will also miss knowing I am protecting them and keeping them safe at all times. And I love that they are smooshed in there together and can only hope they will continue to share a super close bond once they are on the outside world.

AFM:
How far along are you? 30w5d Upcoming appointments? I have my ultrasound tonight, can't wait! I miss seeing my babies! Any updates to share? I have developed a fabulous belly rash which we think is PUPPP. It is so flipping itchy and spreading like wildfire! Luckily it is not harmful to the babies, just very annoying! I guess it is more likely to happen with multiples and if one of them is a boy, which I have both of. I just started putting cream on there because I was very against it before, just me being freaked out with this whole IF process. How are you feeling? Besides my annoying rash, I am feeling pretty good. I have the expected uncomfortableness and I'm always warm but that's part of the blessing so I'm dealing with it. I just want to meet my babies!!
QOTD: What are you going to miss the most about being pregnant? I'm going to miss having my babies everywhere I go and feeling them move around. I am going to have to get used to sharing them with other people.

AFM, I'm 30w4d. No big updates, just regular check ups. Lots of baby gear came in this week so I'm excited about that! I'm feeling good!
QOTW: I'll miss the baby kicks for sure! And the anticipation :-)
TTC #1 since August 2011 w/ unexplained IF
09/12-11/13: 3 TIs, 3 IUIs, ICSI/PGS IVF & 2 FETs
08/14: Our little miracle has FINALLY arrived - 3 years after we started trying!
We are 35 weeks and 5 days. We just got back from the OB and they said she is butt down. They gave me two options. One they can try and flip her from the outside at 37 weeks. They said this only has a 50% success rate and the other 50% is an emergency C-Section because of the water breaking or placenta detaching. The other option is doing a scheduled C-Section at 39 weeks. We are leaning towards the C-Section.
TTC #1 since June 2013
Me: 24
DH: 26 Very Low Count (only 15 active), Low Testosterone
Sorry Ive been MIA ladies! I'm two days shy of 34 weeks I cant believe it! She has been kicking quite regularly and I love it. We did our 4d ultrasound two weeks ago and it was pretty amazing seeing her face. I teared up as DH said "she looks like you, babe". I've had some difficulty sleeping and pain in my hips at night which is expected. I am still working but it is def hard changing positions and especially walking since Im now waddling, hehehe... My OB appt was uneventful, i did gain 3 lbs in two weeks ...yikes
Qotw: I will definitely miss having her with me 24/7, feeling her kicks, and overall will miss my belly. Oh and a the special treatment I'm getting while I'm pregnant, everyone is extra nice to me - i love it!
hi ladies! Our twins arrived on May 16th, at 34 weeks 2 days. Have spent the past 2 weeks in the NICU, but William *may* (fingers crossed!) get to come home today!! Hopefully Anna won't be far behind!

I'm 33 weeks today -- getting close! And it's a good thing, since I feel huge and am getting uncomfortable at times. Mostly I just can't wait to meet my little girl. I don't get another scan until 36 weeks so have no idea how big she is at this point or what position she's in -- though I suspect she's head down because occasionally I feel a big round knob near my groin, lol.
When I'm no longer pregnant I will miss feeling her move, especially the kind of moves where she rolls my whole stomach. There's nothing else quite like that sensation!
Thank you all so much for the well wishes and @MishaBelle521 for being awesome and doing this check in! I'm on mobile so I can't check how you're doing but I know you're close!!
I am still at the hospital recovering from a c section but both girls have been with me since they debuted screaming They're currently hiccuping next to my bed in a milk coma lol. The labor was difficult. I made it all the way to "push!" for vaginal delivery and then baby A became stuck. Her heart rate dropped rapidly so we moved to an emergency C section. It was pretty terrifying but it's over now and both girls are healthy and we're just so thankful to have them! We're excited to get home tomorrow! I'll try to post pics when I get home
@katekat8721 your such a strong mama! Congrats and I can't wait to see those cuties! I saw @letsgobowlingx had her baby! Praying all is well with them!!!
@katekat8721 ahhhhh congratulations!!! So happy for you!! Hope you got to go home today.
AFM: 39 weeks today. DH will be home in less than 24 hours, thank goodness. He's been halfway across the country taking care of his VERY sick mom in the hospital for the last 10 days. It's been stressful for both of us but worse on him. I am glad he is coming home but hope he doesn't feel too guilty about leaving his mom.
I have a sore throat and I am more exhausted today than I have ever been. I have pretty bad swelling from my toes up to my knees, hands, wrists and face. It's hard to walk because my damn ankles are so swollen I can barely bend my feet. My fingertips have been numb for awhile now making it hard to use my hands for fine motor stuff like hooking my bra, holding a pen, texting, putting on earrings, clipping my fingernails, etc. My blood pressure has been slowly creeping up so I've been monitoring it at home and trying to relax. I am really dreading going to work tomorrow!!!
My next appointment isn't until Friday but if my BP keeps going up I will be calling sooner. I hope baby holds out until DH gets home but once DH is here, I am ready to go!
QOTD: I'm not sure what I will miss. I had a pretty easy pregnancy but I still think I would prefer to have LO outside of me!
Hi ladies. I'd love to be added! I am 29w due August 14th with our surprise little girl. This was a bit of a shock after dealing with IF for our team purple twins who are only 16 months old. But very thrilled and blessed nonetheless!
I found out I passed my GTT test as well so really happy about that. We had an ultrasound a couple weeks ago and baby was about 1.5 pounds and moving like crazy. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.
QOTW: honestly I don't love being pregnant as I just feel like a cow! Ha. But I do love all the movements and kicks etc. and I'm finding myself getting very emotional lately that this will be our last one! I could see myself wanton a fourth in another couple years but dh is dead set against it. So I'll have to be happy with three which I definitely am. But in answer to this question I'm just trying to enjoy everything about this pregnancy as it's my last. And it's flying!

Re: **Third Tri Check-in 5/28**
@katekat8721 - Thinking of you and your babies! I hope all is smooth for you! @mishabelle521 - Thanks for letting us know and for posting.
@ThoseThreeWords - yay for passing the GTT!!!

I'll AW for a second and here is a picture of her little face today. I never thought I could love a baby as much as I do her. It's just amazing. (holding back tears of joy over here)

Good luck @katekat8721!
QOTW: Hmm I think I'll miss the ease of not having diapers to change or midnight feedings, plus they are easier to carry around now than if they were outside babies. But, I'll gladly give all that up when I finally get to hold them in my arms!!

I'm 33w3d. I feel OK. Carpal tunnel continues to cause soreness/frustration and after seeing some initial improvement with the wrist brace, now I am not so sure it is helping that much. My wife said this morning, "Is there anything they can do to make it better?" and I said, "Yeah -- they can deliver the baby." Of course no one is delivering a baby before he's ready because of carpal tunnel! Fortunately the rest of my body feels OK. Heartburn has been intense but Zantac is helping. I think I am starting to get a little waddle but that is not surprising.
Had an uneventful OB appointment last week. I had gained 6 lbs (in 3 weeks) but my OB was OK with it, my overall weight gain being still in the range she is hoping for. I had been slipping a little on the healthy eating so I am trying to be better about that and about my daily walks. So far, so good.
We drive down to NJ on Friday for our first (of two) big family baby showers. I am looking forward to it (not the drive but the weekend) but also feeling a little overwhelmed. And I'm still stressed out about the state of our nursery, but the painter came today and a potential wallpaperer(?) is coming tomorrow.

Thanks @MishaBelle521 for posting the check-in! I hope your baby boy decides to make his arrival soon!
I am 36 weeks and had my weekly appointment yesterday. All was good and I will be finding out my Group B Strep results at next week's appointment. Since the OB was doing the Group B Strep test, she decided to check my cervix as well and I am a fingertip dilated she told me. Tonight I *think* I lost my mucus plug (clear and stringy) which has me somewhat freaked out as I was planning on keeping this baby in for 4 more weeks! Seems kind of coincidental that I had my cervix checked yesterday and then I noticed my mucus plug today. I hope I still have weeks left before our baby girl makes her arrival!
QOTW: I feel like I am able to do a good job protecting her while she's inside of me. Once she's born I'm going to miss not being able to protect her as well as I can now. But I am so excited to meet her!
QOTD: I will miss having her with me all of the time and getting to feel her movements that make me happy every time I feel them :-)

Baby shower is on Saturday! I guess there's a LOAD of people coming; might need to take the pickup to get all the stuff home!

AFM:
How far along are you?
30w5d
Upcoming appointments?
Siggy warning...

Congrats, sara_beth!
I am still at the hospital recovering from a c section but both girls have been with me since they debuted screaming
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
