I alway refrigerate it, but people think that's weird when they come to my house.

Once it's opened, fridge it is! Though when we're making food that will require ketchup I take it out while getting the food ready, I don't like really cold ketchup on hot food.

I've always assumed it needed to be refrigerated too.... keeping it out seems gross to me for some reason?

Ours is in the fridge. But the same with (Kraft) grated parm cheese. My mom keeps it in a cabinet. Mine is in the fridge.

It happened at my moms apartment. I don't know how long it had been out but it scared the crap out of me.

I am going to need to leave a bottle of ketchup on my balcony this summer, and see what happens. I'll be back with results!
