BG OS 4.0 Blowouts - Probably a stupid question

Over the last few days we have had a couple blowouts up the back of our BG 4.0s (once at daycare and once at home). Is this an indication that I should start messing with the rise of the dipes? I know when we had lots of blowouts with sposies, it stopped when we moved up a size. Right now the legs fit perfectly, so I am afraid that I will get leaks out the leg by changing the rise. Any suggestions?

LO is almost 6 months and we have been cloth diapering for about 2 months.

Most likely. I'd unsnap to the next rise level and then snap the sides in tighter if needed.

  • Which rise are you on?  Especially if you have room to tighten the waist, I'd go up one rise.  LO went up a rise around 4 months, and just went up to the last one at 11.5 months, and I just snapped the waist a smidge tighter.  Haven't had any problems!

  • Ok, thanks so much! I will give it a try.

We have been on the highest rise and on the third snap on each side, so definitely have room to make the waist tighter when going to the middle rise.

And don't follow their weight suggestions. You kind need to adjust by eyeing the fit. We actually went to the highest rise at one point and then back down to the middle when my daughter started walking more.
