It's a UTI and DS2 lost his teeth

This has been a shit week so far! The GREAT news is that DD has a UTI. "Great" bc we know what it was that made her so sick and it's treatable. She's already off oxygen and doing much better.

My aunt took the boys to a splash pad Monday and DS2 collided with a little girl. He split his lip open. Because of being in the NICU with her, I didn't see him until yesterday evening when I notice his two front teeth are GONE. We have no clue when he lost them. My aunt swears they were there and DH swears they were there Monday night. DS2 is no help. Took him to the dentist this morning. No damage to his permanent teeth or gums. He'll just be toothless for a while.

I need a fucking drink, or 7.

I am so sorry. Do his gums hurt? DOes he remember when they came out?

His gums and lip are sore. He has no clue when they came out. I've asked him a million different ways. All I get is "I don't know"

I'm so glad they were able to find out what it was and are treating it. Hope she gets right back on track and is home soon. 

And wow, a bump knocked his teeth out? Oh well, at least there's no permanent damage, right?

I don't know if it knocked them loose and they came out later? I felt like such an idiot at the dentist. I mean I don't know what happened to my kid's teeth. It's so strange

Oh man. You guys have had a hell of a week.At least they found the infection and are treating her. Your poor DS! Hopefully thesoreness goes away soon.

You definitely deserve a drink! Glad the UTI was found and can be treated and she is already doing better. So strange about DS's teeth but glad all is okay with him though.

You definitely need 7 drinks.  Glad you found out why your little girl was feeling so crummy.  And wow about your son's teeth!  Yikes, that's startling.  At least his permanent teeth are ok.

DS1 lost his teeth. Once the shock/pain wears off it's the cutest thing ever.
